Wheat down, trade surplus down 50%, steel production down 18%, judiciary victories down 100%, risk index increasing at an increasing rate, likihood of another default rising, likihood of a consure (will further restrict international trade) increasing.
Asslips needs to do the honorable thing like a Japanese officer in WWII.

    @1 Captain Poppy

Well first she'd need to look up the word 'honour', then she'd order Timidman to fall on his own sword.

Personally, it is of benefit to the Falkland Islanders for TMBOA to remain in power.

During her tenure she has done more to ensure that the Falklands will never be Argentinian, by showing the world what bare faced liars she and her government are.

I do, however, have a lot of sympathy for the Argentine people. They've only just started to protest. They need to keep it up, and pressurise TMBOA until she finally gets the message an legs it to her friend Chavez, or until the people themselves finally realise there is only one option...rope is quite cheap, and the lamp posts in the Plaza de Mayo are quite sturdy. A short drop and a sudden stop may send a message to any future leader to look to Argentina's problems instead of lining their own pockets.

The hangmens noose has 13 wraps. Speaking of chubby, I cannot believe he is still alive and forcing his will and his subserviants and allowing Bolivia the join mercosur. At the rate they are going, they might have trouble getting agreements with normal countries.
They toss the word “Democracy” around yet they truly have no concept of what it is.

Argentina will not join the European/American sphere of how the world should work. Ever again.

The north needs to get over itself, and understand we just are not interested in your system.

There is no doubt that we are in trouble, Captain Poppy and LEPRecon, but please don't wish for the end of CFK's mandate before the sell by date. If she goes we will be under the thumb of Amado “Printing Press” Boudou and if he should go then Mrs. Alperovich would take over!!!!!

I'm not sure which of these last would be worse, but either would certainly be worse than CFK who already has her “pension” in her Swiss bank account!!!!!

    As someone previously posted:

“It's a bit unfair lumping Argentina together with Somali. After all, one is a failed state with a barely functioning government, massive levels of corruption and a tendency to sail out onto the surrounding oceans stealing things that don't belong to them......the other one is Somalia!

Its a sad fact that throughout the world crops have been hit by either too little rain or too much rain and harvests have been affected by this. It means that we will all be affected by the the additional cost of these weather problems.
To try and score political points out of this scenario is pointless, governments have little control over the weather.

It may be that rising world prices (as a result of poor harvests/higher demand) means that what their down in tonnage, will be offset by higher prices.

However it does show how vulnerable we all are to climate change.

@11 but they do control imports. There are many crops that lie rotting in the fields in Argentina because the farmers can't get machinery parts to repair broken down machines.

Rare for a brit to admit argentines can take “jokes” better than brits.

Say the same joke about Britain, and you all go off the deep end. You are as precious as Kopi Luwak.

Something that your country has lost. Always evidence of decline, when you are a trully confident country, you take things in stride. When you feel vulnerable, the precious-meter surges.

Americans are the best example, 10-20 they didn't care about jokes against them or people talking smack of them, they knew they were #1. Now look at the internet, they are as precious of a double-strong Kopi Luwak, served on a diamond-rimmed chinese porcelain cup with a pure gold handle.

Ever see the Manchurian Candidate, a fiction about brainwashing. These trolls are living proof. What is so funny is they think we want argentina to be like the USA or UK and we don't. We just want them to play buy the rules. They seem to think they don't need the world, then who will they trade with? No one wants your sovereignty, your identity, anything from argentina.,........just own up and pay your bills for the money you took and are refusing to pay back. See the the lastest trade surplus......585, down from 900, down from 1,100, down from 1,500....that's called a trend and it will get worse. Did you read about your steel industry?

It's nice to see a little piece of Arg!vision 7 takes a long time to get started! Cereal..... can be healthy, if it's whole grain, ideally with almond moo (great mineral proportions)or coconut milk (efas equal to human mother's milk).

Starting off with freshly picked fruit is even mo bettah, which I like.

Not great news admittedly, but not disastrous, and crucially the weather is no individual's fault. Certainly nothing for Cristina to fall on her sword over, or sacrifice Timmerman, or be killed, as the hysterics at #1&2 suggest

Nothing for CFK to worry about, financially, right?

Meanwhile Argentine children succumb to disease because of malnutrition.
The Wichi Indians of Salta live surrounded by fields of soy beans that are all exported to China, while Argentine aboriginals die.

    Good job CFK !!

BK, is this why you adore her??

Pirat-Hunter (ALEX VARGAS), you are Indian from Salta, do you still adore CFK??
    Is CFK still infallible??

Still the best President in 40 years??

I like Nozzy's proud statement too, “we have ALMOST no shanty towns in Mendoza”.

As I have been saying I will laugh and laugh if Argentina has to buy Wheat from the USA ....
Remember these are still estimates and Arg ALWAYS estimates on the high side.

    Barley para todos

Another little thought, if Arg gets kicked out of al of the Int'l financing orgs, which looks pretty likely at this point, does that mean GM and Ford would not be able to mfg in the country either? I think both use IFC, EXIM bank and those would be prohibited from doing business there too.
    This could get very interesting
Then all that is left is Soy
Toby might be really happy he is getting isolated much sooner than expected.

Ok course BK, nothing to worry about when they only means to dollars is for trade surplus. And recently th surplus trend is low, lower and becoming the lowest as October was 585 million. Lets see...July near 2 billion....August...1.1 billion...Sept 900 million and now October at 585 million. What will November be....a deficit?

I watched something on Youtube, where KFC was harping on about how Argentina feeds the world and I thought to myself, much to my chagrin, that she was right.

Then I pulled myself up and I remembered, no! she sells food to the world. A subtle difference I thought. Unlike the yanks, who some people like and some people dislike. Who for decades have been donating wheat to the worlds hungry.

Anyway, agriculture provides jobs, a job enables a man to feed his family. When nature interferes, that suffers, so I do not draw satisfaction for my beliefs, with their problems Nuff said!!!
