Seabourn Cruise Line no longer will call at the Falklands, reports Ushuaia media
The Bahamas flagged cruise vessel ‘Seabourn Sojourn’ that on Thursday berthed at Ushuaia reported to Argentine port authorities it has no plans to visit the Falklands/Malvinas Islands according to press reports from the capital of Argentine Tierra del Fuego. Read full article

This precludes them from using Seaborn.
They will of course be talking about this to their other friends who also regularly take cruises.
Malvinas are no longer in the company’s tourism itinerary.

The IMF review can't come soon enough because Argentina needs to feel what an embargo feels like! Not that that would really change much I suppose since they've pretty much already embargo'd themselves trade wise. Tourism would be where I imagine RG land would suffer most. Ban all flights and ships going to RGland and out of RGland.

The good news is that a default is looming for Argentina on 15th December and the IMF will be in town with their 'Red Card' on the 17th December so this will guarantee a Merry Christmas for all of Argentina.

I think this might be a case of a dodgy phone line. The liner company probably said that it wasn't going anywhere near Madeira (the autonomous region of Portugal that's about 300 miles off of the coast of Africa), which is fair enough, most people find flying into Funchal easier anyway.

Sometimes I think that people forget that the Falklands already belong to the Falklands Islanders, nobody is going to take it away from them (other than by force) so there is absolutely no need to even consider embargoes or anti-Argentine motions/movements.

Am aware that 36 took the 1982 historical conflict battlefield tour - and were thrilled when 2 visiting British Veterans appeared among the guides and gave them all the real true stories, also there was a veteran,s wife who explained how they fared 8000 miles away with little info and wondering if husband/fiancee was going to come home, and a Falklands widow who proudly showed the passengers her Elizabeth Cross and explained the history behind this recently introduced personal award from the Queen

How could you be different?
All the immigrants came from the same places, disenfranchised the same original inhabitants, and revolted against the same European states, in the same time frame. You even had the same bunch of 'revolutionary' leaders, like Simon Bolivar, revered in several LATAM countries as their liberator.

Another question to ask is how many ships are registered in Argentina. The vast majority of ships aren't registered in their true country of origin. The same applies to aircraft. Obscure little places like the Isle of Mann, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands hold many registrations between them of hulls that never even visit their shores.

They're not European because they left and renounced Europe after WWII when they were shamefully beaten and cast back into the shadows of mordor (south america). They're thankful that they're not North Americans because the USA was partially instrumental in the demise of their ideology (along with the commonwealth and russia) during WWII.
