President Jose Mujica admitted on Tuesday before the country’s Exporters Union lobby that Uruguay has competitiveness problems and it is ‘not an easy challenge’ but nevertheless 2012 will again be a record year for overseas sales. Read full article

    He talks and talks but never DOES anything either about infrastructure or education. Isnt the Presidency supposed to be the executive branch of government? He seems more interested in the side issues of legalizing marijuana, abortion and gay marriage than the real problems that our country faces and will face

    They need to reinstate the railways and get them working and transporting goods around the country. Far more efficient than building more roads.
