Lugo should run again so that LatAm could see who the people of Paraguay really want as their President. Then, if a second legislative coup were to occur, it would be just too obvious what the Colorados were up to; (literally) business as usual.

'The Colorado party lost its 61 year of uninterrupted hegemony on April 2008 when former bishop Fernando Lugo was elected president by a catch-all coalition which rapidly evaporated leaving him exposed and limited in his legislative agenda since he lacked the necessary support in Parliament.'
A good brief background.
It speaks volumes for a county needing to have, at all times, a viable opposition. A 'rainbow alliance' is a bit like a wartime all-party coalition .... if it fails, there is nowhere to go.
When Lugo visited Uruguay he was asked were there any results of the visit. Some wag in the press gallery chimed in Well maybe we will see the results in nine months
