British Prime Minister David Cameron delivers his Christmas message to the people of the Falkland Islands: 2012 has been a memorable year for all of us. It’s been a year of happy celebrations but a year of more sober commemorations too. In London and Stanley, we celebrated the Diamond Jubilee, marking the 60th year of Her Majesty the Queen’s reign. The genuine and deep affection for Her Majesty both here and in the Falklands reminded us of the ties that bind us together. Read full article

Hello Argentine malcontents are you listening? Don't you wish that you could afford to do what we do??? Personally I would be content to see each and every Argentine rot in the crap that they are in and then laugh when the rest of South America walks right in and takes what is left.

Argentina can only look on in envy at what we did in the summer, just like they will look on in jealous envy when Brazil does the same four years from now. And in the meantime all the cruise ships that have been docking in Argentine ports bringing in much needed money will be bypassing Argentina and will be docking in other South American country's making them even richer.

Your going down the crap pan Argentina thats the price your going to pay for taking us on again and being the nasty bastards we all always knew you were.

Enjoy your Christmas with your meager food on the table that has cost you a fortune to buy Argentinians. Meanwhile the rest of us including our friends on those islands that you covet so much will look upon our tables laden with good cheer and toast to a job well done, and we will all look forward to next year where once again we will all laugh at Argentina's demise. Merry Christmas to all

On a totally different subject. Anyone seen the news this morning.

Apparently Mr Julian ASSANGE came on to the balcony of the ECUADORIAN Emabassy last night, to deliver his Christmas Message!

His supporters sang, “Ho Come Let Us Adore him.”

    Fuck me, an alternate Pope!

    What a bunch of Anoraks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it's safe to say that he speaks for the whole of the UK in his excellent message to the FI, have a great Christmas Islanders and all the best for next year when you show the world you want to remain free and prosperous and no way wish to be colonised by a lying cheating un trust worthy nation like Argentina. UN will have to listen and back your wishes as stated in there charter for self determination.

@7. Yes the self appointed spokesman for free speech has spoken from his prison cell balcony ( prison of his own making I must add)

I still cant understand how anyone can still support this guy in any way, or could of in the first place, he and his cohorts at Wiki leaks have put many innocent lives at risk with there “leaks” and now he has been shown to be the lying little weasel of a man he really is. By avoiding going back to Sweden and clearing his name surly that is a sign of guilt!!

Just wish the fire alarms would mysteriously go off in the dead of night and weasel would be on the 545am flight out of Heathrow, Stockholm bound!!

Cameron ??....which Cameron ??.....Ewen Cameron ???

hhmmm.....thats Dr.Ewen Cameron who was former head of the American Psychiatric Association,is one of many highly respected doctors who erased the personalities and manipulate the minds of thousands of unsuspected victims, while many in profession simply turned a blind eye.

Dr.Cameron began conducting unethical ,unscientific and inhuman brainwashing experiments in the 1930's...
Schizophrenic patient were forced to a lie naked in red light for eight hours a day for periods as long as eight months.......but Dr.Cameron technique resulted permanent and complete amnesia.
The project involved brutal ,at times lethal experiments on thousand of unsuspected citizens in direct defiance of law ,all ethical codes and basic human rights.

From January 1957 until September 1960 ..Dr.Cameron project received $ 64,242.44 in CIA funds.

Dose of reality for CFKs government & cronies:

As long as the UK supports the Islanders they will never be colonized by Argentina.

UNLESS the Islanders want that to happen.

The sooner that sinks in to the thick skulls of the hyper-aggressive CFK party apparatchiks the better: everything, literally everything, else is irrelevant and will get you nowhere.

So all these years of being mean spirited and aggressive attitude towards the Islanders has done, and will continue to do, you far, far more harm than good.

And if you had continued in good faith and pleasant, normalized democratic political partnership with the Islanders then you would already be getting a foot in the door.

You fail, and will continue to fail, because of your own attitude and intransigence.

FInally, and perhaps more importantly, the UN is warming up the fat lady and the lip-service you get from other LATAM countries has been shown to be just that: lip service.

Wake up to the reality of today's work where nobody is going to walk all over the rights of Islanders just because you wish it, nor will the wider world re-write history just because you wish it.

    Absolutely spot on.

Who'd actually want to be part of a backward looking country that won't even produce accurate growth and inflation statistics and is likely to get thrown out of the G20 and IMF.

While South Amercia pays lip service to Argentina's false claims to the Falkland Islands, the rest of the World laughs.

I can only echo the previous sentiments. To the Falkland Islanders: Please be assured that the people of Britain will ALWAYS step forward for you. There is no-one, nor any combination, that will change that. We are delighted that you have responded to the illegitimate invasion and occupation of your country 30 years ago by demonstrating to the whole of Latin America how a united people imbued with freedom, democracy and self-determination can progress so much more than their poor imitations. It is particularly good to see how your attacker, argieland, is sliding further into humiliation and disaster. We look forward to your clear statement, next year, of your intention to maintain that freedom, democracy and self-determination and provide an ever-greater contrast with the failures of South America. We wish you well in the use of your natural resources and are convinced that you will use them wisely for the benefit of all of you. At this time of the year, we wish all of you well, a merry Christmas and a happy and ever-more prosperous New Year!

@17 All the best! one and all...

Nobody knows for sure what The Falklanders democratic referendum will propose, so any attempt to illegitamize or disrupt this free and fair process is just plain dictatorship towards The Falklands population, their human rights and their destiny,

Any country/poster scared or dismissive of the outcome to this democratic referendum should ask themselves why?, after all if they were a democracy they would actively promote their own assumed freedom and liberty beliefs onto others, instead of oppression and malicious interference, until then such hypocritical countries cannot call themselves or be seen as a true DEMOCRACY :)

I was going to say, if I had a christmas wish, it would be, that one of those men could change places with you. Then I thought, no, why should I dishonour their memory. Every single one of them, Argentinian or Brit, was obviously a better man than you will ever be.

If you insist-Britain settled in Ushuaia before Argentina did -so if terra del Fuego voted to be British it would turn the place from an unemployment sh1thole to a prosperous small nation that could trade with the Falkland Islands.
And we'd let them keep all their culture and language too, and let them run their own government.

Perhaps the CFK administration will enter a new cycle, and start asking themselves questions like “Why are we running this potentially great country into the ground for personal gain, based on outdated and flawed polictical philosophies?”. “Why are we at odds with practically every other country in the world, and why in particular are we harassing the Falkland Islands when all the inhabitants want is to live and prosper in peace?”

“We need to change our ways before it is too late!”

@21, 23 It seems I need to get down to your level before you understand. Sod off, tosspot! I pray every day that you will die in agony. Given the opportunity,n I will make sure you do. If I can find one coward amongst the other 41 million!
@30 Cry for your non-existent future, dogs' breath!
@33 I have a present for you and your ass. A double-length bayonet. Don't care whether you want it or not. But, if you choose, I can shove it down your throat. I have a hammer to make sure it goes all the way!
@39 Try not to use the word “Yank” in respect of faggots. “Yank” and “Limey” are, generally, friendly expressions between cousins. Please think of another word of opprobium for faggots, wherever they try to hide. We do need to work together to locate these scum and transport them halfway to their origins. Only fair. By air or by sea, let's see them “punch” a hole in the air.
@53 Sub-titles for you, twinky-lite. Try to remember that “Conqueror”, particularly HMS Conqueror, is a proud name. With reason. It sank Slutland's waughship with ease. And killed lots of latinos guilty of using air. Not content, that small vessel saw the rest of the lily-livered, gutless, coward “navy” scuttle out of sight. It won't happen again. Next time, cowards' lairs will be missiled until exterminated. “Happy” New Year, gutless.
@57 No reason for your existence or “life” then. You've always been pretty pointless. Being a faggot isn't a reason for existence. May you die soon and suffer in hellfire for the rest of eternity. Or, perhaps just cease. May the breath rattle in your throat and your bowels discharge. The stench will be a proper “marker”. Please let us know about your “end”. I really want to travel and crap in the cesspit of your disposal.
@61 Do you not keep up with the news, faggotface? The “Chaggosian” scroungers have LOST. They are going to have to something they've never done before if they want to survive. WORK!

It's difficult to see where the Argentines can go with this next year, they seem to have tried just about everything and its made not a jot of difference. I do hope they don't continue with the economic blocks and actions violent thugs, you should always be gracious to your adversary in defeat and maintain your dignity.
I genuinely don't think they understand the British/Falklands animal. @74 Bongo

    See 75 reality check.

Death comes to us all, being a real atheist means you don't have to worry about God putting the 'fear of God' up you, or whether you are going to hell or not. Their is no God and neither is there a hell, just the end of everything, so make the best of what you have.

Being an atheist also means you don't have to listen to the lies of the Pope and all the rest of the deluded Christians, Islamists (same as Christian but with a real killing hang-up) Jewish Church (same as Christians but still waiting for the real Prophet) and every other failed creed that lays claim on you.

Remember that these three religions spang from the same source (originally Abraham) in the same area of the middle east desert albeit at different times due to Muslims not starting their hatred of everyone else until AD 622.

    @77 Escoses Doido

As long as you are not a fake atheist, then being a humanist is fogiveable! :o)

Thank you for the positive critique and best wishes, I do appreciate them.

I am not sure how I could make money however. American TV 'evangelists' turn themselves into very rich men by taking the poor suckers money ‘In Jesus’ Name’.

Doesn’t quite work ‘In nobody’s name’ does it? I think people are likey to see through that, though given the idiots who believe in the LITTERAL word of the bible perhaps you may be correct after all.

The thing is you see I am the ‘Christians’ worst enemy as far as they are concerned. I used to be the head server (not real heads) at the High Church my parents went to. I know the scriptures as well as most of them.

However once I started studying science and thinking for myself (11 Y/O) I soon realised that there are some real lies in both testaments.

Not only that but the whole regime of ‘beware the wrath of God’ and ‘you are a sinner from the day you were born’ didn’t quite sit with ‘God loves you’.

I think it is a truism that throughout history, monarchs, governments, and politicians of all parties have used religion as a tool for controlling the masses. TMBOA continues to do that even now, though I do not see how her thievery fits in with any faith.

I really find it amusing that people like Bongo still fall for the ‘Old Lies’, but that is their lookout.

BTW, I subscribe to the Oxford Dictionaries: forum plural is forums. Fora is correct if you want to base it on Latin, but as Latin is the language of the RC Church, I’ll give it a miss. :o)

I hope Cameron means every word of this, and isn't as much of a wet lettuce and apologist as he usually appears, even though it's unnerving to find oneself agreeing with him.

One thing can be said for certain about the Falkland Islands, and their aggressive neighbour, they unite the British people, English, Scots, Welsh and the others, with very very few exceptions. I would sincerely advise any aggressively enthusiastic neo-Malvinistas to remember this. We will not be a pushover (as you might remember), and we can hit back very very hard too.

Here's a little tip: Try giving something, and stop complaining and demanding. We'll like you a whole lot more, you'll get more and we'll all be happier. Anyway, let's hope you can avoid any more unpleasantness, a very happy December 22nd (avoidance of the apocalypse day, we really should make this an annual event), a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

I guess I can be called an atheist, becouse I am not a Theist. I do not believe in a god(s).

I'm not a fake either. I've been in many life threatening situs in my life, and despite having been raised by a born again Pentecostal Minister (my Mother)

I have never stooped sp low as to have god enter my thoughts at the moment of danger.

Last time this happened was just a couple of months ago, whe I was car-jacked/abducted in Brasil, with a gun pushed in to the back of my head, and the knowlage that these guys normaly kill you regardless, - I could only THINK of how to make the equation of dividing two Brasilian armed robbers, and one Scotsman, - And still having one Scotsman left over.

No thoughts of any god entered my mind, - So, no, I'm deffinately a real Non-Theist.

”offer Aregntina South Georgia in return for their dropping their claims to the Falklands”

The Argentine claim for South Georgia because it is the next stop from the FI is less valid than if the UK/Falkland Islands were to claim Terra del Fuego as it was settled with British pioneers from UK and born Falkland Islanders before Argentinians reached the area.

It is more valid, as no-one from South America has ever has a population living on South Georgia, apart from the military occupation in 1982, which didn't last long.

The fact is people from Argentina were not for a long time stopped from workingand settling in the Falkland Islands , ie the 150 gauchos who worked for Lafone in the 1850s. The fact is that most preferrred the climate nearer to BA as the South is too cold for their liking.

It is worth remembering that not every emigrant from the UK has always hacked the conditions, hence the relatively low population.

If you think CFK really cares about the rights of the Falklanders, then you are a complete plonker.

I'm pretty sure that life under the Argentine jackboot would be very unpleasant to the Falklanders.

Even if the more extreme elements in Argentina did'nt get to ethnically cleanse the place by forced deportation, then they would spend every day having their noses rubbed in Argentinas' triumph and be forced to endure occupation by a hostile power that considers them to be less than second class people.

What a success that would be for you....

The liberals are utter pratts, and weak as P*** so I'm not surprised they advocate giving away land that Argentina really has no claim to. Don't vote for them.

I'm not sure why the UK is on some sort of extinction watch list. Are you claiming that the UK will cease to exist if the Kingdom of Scotland regains independence?

Is that just because of the name? UNITED KINGDOM of Great Britain and Northern Ireland? What if they changed their name to just UNITED KINGDOM of Britain and Northern Ireland? Or maybe just Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Or even Kingdom of England. Does a name change denote a cessation of existence?

If Scotland doesn't deny the rest the right as a successor state (think about who the Quen of Scotland is) then nothing changes.

    @117 YAWN

    Yadda yadda yadda....

The problem with your country is denying that it has a problem. I've already posted what I think about that.

@shb , What these Argentines do not mention (they probably have not got the intelligance to know) is that Argentina has dropped from 20 to 26 in the world GDP rankings, what a shame while UK is about to jump to 6th place

#112 “BK has said that he makes extreme statements on this forum solely for the enjoyment he gets from positing people off”

Occasionally, (and I've actually toned the “Queen Cristina” stuff down now the jubilee is over), but #102 was definately not one of them. Its the heart of my honest case. Take it or leave it, I believe all the evidence supports it...

    @122

If you REALLY believe that I suggest that you seek psychiatric help as soon as possible.

Believing in the humanist side of TMBOA is akin to Christians believing in God / Jesus and the life thereafter, without a shred of evidence to support it.

Nostrolldamus The (whatever): “Why would Argentina want any relations with a country that is on the watch list of extinction as soon as 2014?”
Quite right Carlos, quite right. What would a bunch of card carrying losers from the arse end of history possibly gain from an association with a real country like the United Kingdom?
By the way, verbose, pompous and inaccurate writings do not make lucid, sensible arguments. The mere fact that you consider it necessary to rephrase your writings using simpler English (“in other words”) demonstrates that you do not have much confidence in what you are trying to say. (It also insults those who bother to read your work). So if you have nothing to say – don’t clutter up the comments section with crap! There’s a good chap.

Bloody hell - some good news for blighty! I just went and verified what you posted and it gets better.....

There is a chance we could move up to 5th place - the French are very worried about us leaving them behind and them falling to 9th place in a couple of years.

Not bad for a country about to become extinct......................

Put that in your pipe and smoke it Argies.

    LOL
