Jan 08th, 2013 - 12:15 am - Link - Report abuse 0I hope the cheque has cleared before they let her have the plane.
Jan 08th, 2013 - 12:21 am - Link - Report abuse 0I also love the compliment that Oscar Parrilli heaps on Britain at the end of the article.
Jan 08th, 2013 - 12:36 am - Link - Report abuse 0It is nice to see that the British legal system caught up with the illegal wire tapping activities and that it was fully exposed and condemned by the government and courts.
Also nice to see that British politicians are not above the law in their dealings with the media or others and must pay the price.
I wonder which government could learn something from having such a robust legal system that doesn't buckle, succumb or get threatened by a government when problems arise.
Thanks again Oscar! Oh, please pay in advance as we are running out of things to confiscate.
(It was convenient from an operational, economic and financial point of view...”, because you see that this is far more comfortable than my Presidential plane and it comes with a bar. It also comes with a comfy bed so I can get my beauty sleep, and take care of important diplomatic matters”.)
Jan 08th, 2013 - 12:40 am - Link - Report abuse 0It's not like she's paying for it. Complements of the people in Argentina that actually work.
@2
Jan 08th, 2013 - 01:36 am - Link - Report abuse 0Yes, that would be my first concern. As for the statement in the article: condemned for illegal tapping and the publication of false,...an obvious distraction / smear job technique as often seen on this site.
What a complete embarrassment.
Jan 08th, 2013 - 01:49 am - Link - Report abuse 0A LUXURY plane from the BRITISH. Comedy fix gotten.
Jan 08th, 2013 - 05:04 am - Link - Report abuse 0Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.......
Jan 08th, 2013 - 07:16 am - Link - Report abuse 0I think that just about makes the Argentine governments total humiliation complete doesn't it??
An interesting news item:

It gets funnier by the minute.
Jan 08th, 2013 - 07:30 am - Link - Report abuse 0So Argentina continues to not pay its debts whilst screaming from the roof that the UK should obey UN resolutions which it conveniently forgot it had violated with a illegal act of war.
Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.
The laughing stock of the world...
Jan 08th, 2013 - 09:35 am - Link - Report abuse 0The fact is they still do not see themself as being the laughing stock they try to counteract there stupidness with wild and meaningless allegations-Argentina you are telling your people to avoid buy British yet your corupt governmant hires luxury British Jets
Jan 08th, 2013 - 10:16 am - Link - Report abuse 0The first thing they do in the Argentine Government is attack the messenger. Same thing, time and time again. What's the relevance of the first paragraph of the press release in an official government statement? All they did was reveal what was happening - and embarassing the government by doing so. Of course, their new message is going to be The Sun Lies.
1. Mr Rupert Murdoch, owner of the Sun, was condemned for ilegal phone tapping and publishing knowingly false news items about actors, personalities and politicians in the UK, openly supporting David Cameron's electoral campaign to the point that a civil servant in his cabinet [sic] (Andy Coulson I guess) had to resign due to the scandal and his complicity with Rupert Murdoch.
This is an official Argentine Government Press statement? WTF?
I recognise the Parrilli tactic. It is the same as the Malvinist posters here. Just change the subject completely to divert from the real story.

Jan 08th, 2013 - 03:03 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Ah madam President, they are calling our flight!
If she mentions the Malvinas the the crew, I think this is how she will probably end up:

Seeing how this is a British Aircraft she is flying on, wouldn't it be a lovely gesture if they overflew the Islands. Then she could look down and get a good view of the country she is never going to get her hands on.
Jan 08th, 2013 - 03:37 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I though that British craft were not allowed in Argentinian ports.
Jan 08th, 2013 - 03:58 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@7 It has a special luxury fitment just for CFK. An outside toilet.

Jan 08th, 2013 - 06:10 pm - Link - Report abuse 0TMBOA “and is this a gold replica of you penis, it’s nice and hard?”
BTW TMBOA’s nose looks like it’s about to fall off. It does however show the usual trait seen in argies in Uruguay: the famous hooked nose.
She only needs to cultivate a moustache the size of a house brush and the look will be complete.

Jan 08th, 2013 - 06:44 pm - Link - Report abuse 0LOL. Yeah, it's one that only operates at 9,000 feet
Perhaps if she intends to take back the Falklands in the spirit of her Junta Jeros, she can rent a few ships from the UK.
Jan 08th, 2013 - 07:30 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The President is so smart. Using the vulture tools to beat them at their own game.
Jan 08th, 2013 - 08:14 pm - Link - Report abuse 0She is going to chase people for owed money?
Jan 08th, 2013 - 08:44 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Who owes money to Argentina?
ProRG_American that was an extremely lame attempt to turn the tables. You would have been better to say nothing. But we can always rely on you to devalue your worth all on your own. Thank you.
This story is so good. She'll be renting undies from Anne Summers next lest they be impounded on her next visit abroad!
Jan 08th, 2013 - 09:31 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Hope the UK company gets paid in advance, because Argentina still owes Britain for a couple of type 22 destroyers they bought and reneged in paying for.
Jan 08th, 2013 - 10:16 pm - Link - Report abuse 0#Musky, stop that, I've just eaten.
Jan 08th, 2013 - 10:19 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Did I hear mention that they are paying in dollars??? Would that be US dollars by any chance Cristina??? Tut, tut, tut, now what would teacher say about that, hmmm? Naughty, naughty, and to a British company???
YE GODS! BURN THE HERETICS !!!!
They should charge the bich upfront and then not turn up.
Jan 08th, 2013 - 11:00 pm - Link - Report abuse 0That would indeed be funny but a longer lasting joke is her need to potentially use it in the future. Each hire is considered export earnings for the UK and an import for Argentina.
Jan 09th, 2013 - 12:20 am - Link - Report abuse 0Oh the embarrassment of it all.
Doesn't she now have to export a luxury plane contract to balance the revenue stream?
Jan 09th, 2013 - 12:40 am - Link - Report abuse 0Argies: Why could she not charter a jet from an Argentina based company. You are meant to be a G20 country that is doing better than the UK (according to the Argie bunch on here). If Think had his way CFK would charter a Tupelov (and I don't.know if that is spelt right)!
I actually believe that Cristina does this kind of thing on purpose. To keep you all wasting precious time on this blog and keep all of you up at night. HaHaHaHa!
Jan 09th, 2013 - 01:56 am - Link - Report abuse 0The Argies will surprise you all one day.
I'm sitting here trying to think of something to type and I can't. I can't think of another President who would do this. Its embarrassing!

Jan 09th, 2013 - 09:01 pm - Link - Report abuse 0How about the former Joint - President of the UK's Monster Raving Loony Party, who was infact a Cat called 'Cat Mando'.
#23 Exactly, the vultures can either lay off Arg or get on the wrong side of Britain, talk about a rock and a hard place =) Pirelli's really called out the Sun too, excellent =)
Jan 11th, 2013 - 09:28 am - Link - Report abuse 0#31 Yes as well as the tactical brilliance she does seem to have a great sense of fun =)
Latest news, and you couldn't make this up, is that CFK has broken her own laws by hiring this jet as Chapman Freeborn has contracts with Desire Petroleum, Falklands Oil & Gas and Oil Spill Response.
Jan 11th, 2013 - 12:49 pm - Link - Report abuse 0According to law 26.659 - it is prohibited to do business with people or companies in Argentina who have either direct or indirect links to the exploration of hydrocarbons on the Argentine continental shelf (i.e. around the Falklands) without first seeking permission from the Argentine authorities - or for the supply of services to those organisations.
LMAO

Jan 11th, 2013 - 04:10 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Yes, well she asked herself about this and told herself it would be OK!
Bunch of cunts the lot of them.
