US agricultural giant Monsanto Tuesday posted a large increase in quarterly earnings on strong results in corn seed sales in the US and Latin America and better sales of pesticides. The tax collectors both in Argentina and USA must be really happy. Let's just hope Montsanto pay their taxes this year.

I recall seeing a large Monsanto complex in Argentina where local scientists and Ag engineers are working with local farmers, INTA, and others to improve grain harvests. I suppose that this is the type of innovation that you are referring to.
