“Star Princess” calls at Puerto Madryn, the first of four visits this season
The Bermuda flagged “Star Princess” called on Monday at the Argentine Patagonia port of Puerto Madryn with over 2.400 passengers and 1.200 crew members. This is the second time in the current season the 290 metres long cruise vessel docks in Puerto Madryn and the first this year, reports the local media. Read full article

Disclaimer & comment rulesTourism is as vital for citizens of Argentine Patagonian ports as it is for the Falkland Islands and the southern Chilean ports where these vessels seasonally visit. Thuggery and intimidation inflicted on innocent passengers is beyond reproach and utterly shameful.

Or did I dream it? I think he had some pretty choice words about the authorities in Ushuaia as well. Wise chap.

If we Argentines can't visit Islas Malvinas Argentina neither can anyone else. I think the international legal name for it is pari pasu. Think - wishfull thinking- so far only one line has formally cancelled 2 calls here - another did - but recently re-instated them. A very large line has actually cancelled ALL Arg ports off both its vessels though, and left Falklands on the list.

She has confirmed she will be making all from now on . Two large lines have warned BA in plain English - mess with our tourists or su - and 2013-14 we move elsewhere.
