Lets hold a rally, that'll make it legal. What a laugh!

And the coup is almost complete.

    No elected president - check!
Unelected official acting as president - check!
    Parliament acquiescence - check!
    Courts acquiescence - check!
Armed forces backing the power grab - check!

Now we just need a rally to give it a nice veneer of legitimacy.

Chavez may have once ranted about an attempted coup? But his wonderful constitution actually enabled one much more easily.

What need of a constitution? You just need a dictator and a circus to run Venezuela. (Argentina, take notes on the clowns and their make-up!)

My Spanish may be a bit rusty, and please feel free to correct me, but doesn't “Diosdado Cabello” translate as “God-given Hair”?

It's obviously a divine message. Chavez isn't coming back and He should be President.

@4 Shades of Gaddafi's little Green Book :-) I still have my copy obtained when working in Libya back in the early 80s. I may even get around to reading it one of these days :)

Interesting that Venezuela is now a net importer of oil, like Argentina.

Venezuela has always imported petro from the USA because they lack refinery production to meet their needs.

So they practically give away gas bought at world market cost, no wonder Venezuela is going down in flames.
