    Sounds like pressure is building from Argentina's partners to stop scewing around and get onboard.

    Will Argentina's markets be in jeopardy if they don't comply?

    That can't be good...

    Maybe Dilma has threatened to suspend Argentina from Mercosur if she doesn't fall in line.

    That will pave the way for the rest of Mercosur to trade to their hearts content, while Argentina slips further into oblivion.

    “Maybe Dilma has threatened to suspend Argentina from Mercosur if she doesn't fall in line.”

    Perhaps Paraguay can have Argentinas place in Mercosur?

    She still has this insane belief that all of the LATAM countries will do what ever she says!

    TMBOA is doing her usual 'I am in charge act' by the look of it.

    Just when is any other president in Mercosur going to 'bitch slap' her and put her in her rightful place: at the back of everyone else.

    I think they know she is on her way out. They just have to endure her madness a little longer - whilst ignoring her requests - and play the long game.

    I am with Elaine, I think EVERYONE knows the country is on the verge of collapse and CFK will be out as soon as it does. Everyone is just playing the waiting game including CFK.

    20. I meant with Paris Club, NY Courts, IMF, ICSID she is painfully dragging it out either thinking it will all just go away or hoping she'll be gone before it all blows up in her face.
    Frankly, I see her being dragged through the streets like Mussolini as soon as the peso is 10/1 because at that point inflation will be at least 100%/yr.

    @10 Yes, everyone except CFKC and probably Fat Max in a moment when he isn't high. I think the people around her can see it too. Give a few more months and they will be putting space between her and them.

    @11 And it will be blamed absolutely on the IMF, Paris Club, UCSID and you'll see that this “model” will be used in Argentina in the future by peronists as the way forward. Afterall, Peronism is still going as people have forgotten that, for these policies to work, you need a lot a free money (or in the case of Peron, gold from those exterminated in death camps during WWII). Remember, this is Argentina and, for all its good points, a general understanding of economics isn't one of them....

    All the assets that Argentina has as a country and what does it achieve? It's like god gave them the parts for a Ferarri and they assembled a model T Ford.

    It will not be an easy ride.
    We can see this in the UK where the country has been bankrupted by Blair and Brown Labour governments;
    any administation following this period of wilful profligacy has to try and make good an economic bomb-site.
    It will be in the interests of the Peronistas - like the British Labour Party - to focus on the woes of the present struggling administration and steadfastly avoid comment on their absolute responsibility for their respective disasters.

    I think the model T Ford is an exaggeration, it should be:

    “It's like god gave them the parts for a Ferarri and they assembled a monocycle, all other parts sold off to put money in CFK's bank account”!!!!!!!!

    @Simon68

    Good to see you here.

    As an educated, responsible, real Argentinian, would you mind setting PH straight on a few of the recent threads.
    He would give the audience the impression that speaking as a 'real' Argentinian, he fully supports CFK's economic model.

    Since he lives in Canada and has taken to spamming several threads, it would be good to put his comments in perspective.

    Argentina does not want nor need free trade with a loser continent of broke consumers, with 26% unemployment, people with jobs earning 300 Euros a month, triple-dip recessions, and massive agricultural subsidies.... fail.

    The rest of Latin America can go ahead, I don't think its right we should temporize their wishes if that's what they want, but let me remind you there is no free trade with the European and Americans, only one way trade... they dump their Third rate products to you, they ban yours on “health” concerns.

    Cheaters the lot of them. Argentina will do fine without them.

    Nostro - you're actually the most intelligent Pero.. sorry “Kirchnerist” poster here, and as I have said before to you, it brings me great pleasure to know that you are far too intelligent to believe half of what you say.

    It might be comforting to tell yourself that you can be independent, the model exists for you, North Korea but with a fascist government instead, sounds lovely - good luck with that - even if your singular objective was to farm you'd fail (lack of fertilizer / diesel) , anyway, despite your “isolationist” desires you've always got those wonderful Iranians to help you form “truth committees”. You must feel so proud that you've correctly identified another global pariah to be BFF's with - you can share stories of hyperinflation while you establish your next holo.. *cough* truth committee.

    C'mon, give it up, let go of the pretense and accept that this current state of affairs is a million-miles away from what you really want : )

    You Argie commenters BETTER be present on this Mercopress website when Argentina next collapses (VERY soon) and re-defaults and Cristina escapes in helicopter and you start blaming Britain and USA for installing Cristina as a puppet to destroy Argentina.
    I want you to read my comments that will read something like this, “LLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLL” as I'm laughing my head off while you dig through trashes in search for food and club each other over your heads to steal a couple of US dollars off each other.
    All I'm sayin is, be present to read my massive laughter, my sides are gonna burst from hours of continuous laughter, and you better love it!
