Feb 07th, 2013 - 06:37 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Bet none of them sink up against the side of the dock.
Feb 07th, 2013 - 06:44 pm - Link - Report abuse 0See that. Still floating.
Feb 07th, 2013 - 06:46 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I see that the frigates are flying the flags of all the countries that are supporting the FALKLANDS. Why not send them to the FALKLANDS to put off any attack by you know who.Look nice though, not like the rust buckets in port in ARGENTINA
Feb 07th, 2013 - 06:55 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Bet the cheeky sods would love to buy them, on tick off course.
Feb 07th, 2013 - 06:55 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Have you seen pictures of the new carrier being built CHRIST she is a beauty. Apparently her maiden voyage takes in the FALKLANDS and BUENOS AIRES
Feb 07th, 2013 - 07:00 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Well, the four original type 22s, including Falklands veterans Brilliant and Broadsword were sold to Brazil in the 1990s, 3 of them still in service. Another, HMS Sheffield (the replacement one) was sold to the Chileans (CNS Almirante Williams) and is currently their flagship. However, I doubt the Argentines would be allowed to buy one.
Feb 07th, 2013 - 07:02 pm - Link - Report abuse 0These are not for military use, be right at home in Argentina, there's are'nt for military use either.
Feb 07th, 2013 - 07:05 pm - Link - Report abuse 0It's really funny that the ships we are scraping are in better shape than the RG navy.
Feb 07th, 2013 - 07:08 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Could sell em with the sulphuric acid in the bog cleaner trick that sank the Rg destroyer so effectively. It takes a few years to eat through the pipe between the hull and the sea cock but they go down eventually.
Feb 07th, 2013 - 07:11 pm - Link - Report abuse 0We are going to say this only once, and in full public view,
Feb 07th, 2013 - 07:29 pm - Link - Report abuse 0NO NO NO you cant have them,

Soddy offy,

.
We could scuttle them at the mouth of the River Plate, would make it difficult to dredge around them
Feb 07th, 2013 - 08:46 pm - Link - Report abuse 012 golfcronie
Feb 07th, 2013 - 09:05 pm - Link - Report abuse 0You have obviously never seen the mouth of the Plate.

OK the throat then
Feb 07th, 2013 - 09:15 pm - Link - Report abuse 0How long has HMS Plymouth been decommisoned? She is still afloat isn't she? and so is the Unlucky ship HMS Nottingham.
Feb 07th, 2013 - 09:16 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Hey!! now there's a thing... we should HMS Nottingham to Argentina. That would really finish their Navy off!!!
The state there navy is in,
Feb 07th, 2013 - 09:22 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Either HMS Belfast, or HMS Victory,
Would solve the problem by themselves..
,
Mind you,
Even the HMS Mary Rose, in all its state, could probably do the job, laying on its side lol
It says a lot about a countrys naval capabilities when it can decommission and put up for sale 4 world class destroyers and still have world beating naval vessels patrolling the seas, they deserve good homes and not left in dock to rust and sink overnight , i guess these vessels even at knock down price would be out of argentinas reach, shame as they would surely desire them. :)
Feb 07th, 2013 - 10:05 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I think they should give them to Argentina as artificial reefs for free.
Feb 07th, 2013 - 10:18 pm - Link - Report abuse 0In the mouth of 4 ports cruise liners still visit.

Feb 08th, 2013 - 04:59 am - Link - Report abuse 0Are we going to compare navies now Marcos? Yeah didn't think so!
Well seems the argies pilots will have less work to sink Brits shitting floating boats. They are doing a good job by them selves.
Feb 08th, 2013 - 06:51 am - Link - Report abuse 0No carriers, no planes, no money, no navy, no hopes, no jobs and no FI in 20 years.
WoW only Brits can tolerate such humiliation.
I feel very sorry for them...
Ah Dany, I hope you're enjoying that fantasy.... Quiet clearly its not reality, well except maybe in your head.
Feb 08th, 2013 - 07:53 am - Link - Report abuse 0The only humiliation is for the Argentine forces that are rusting away whilst Britain still spends over 70bn a year on defense.
We are an ultra sophisticated military and you? You're the joke of SA/the world with your ships that sink and break down and then get stranded in other countries because you can't afford the repairs. Your ships are such a joke they can't even sail to another country without breaking down.
LOL
Tolerate humiliation, what? you mean like the humiliation being defeated in a war by a force the third of your size. Don't feel to bad, you were outclassed, that's all. Damn the Uruguayans and Chileans must have loved that result though. God man it's been 30 years, get over it!
Feb 08th, 2013 - 08:27 am - Link - Report abuse 0Marcos
If your such a Frachophile, why don't you up sticks and pop across the channel, you clearly do not like living here? I'm sure the French would embrace you.
