Germany’s CAIROS technologies AG, the parent company of IMPIRE AG, became on Monday the third FIFA licensed Goal-line Technology (GLT) provider, after meeting all the test requirements and making it eligible to be considered for use at the 2014 World Cup, FIFA. Read full article

It's about time!!!!!!

Cricket has the “third Umpire” which is video replay that they can call upon..

With all the money that is in football, this is something that was needed 23 years ago, on the International AND the domestic stage.

At the very least it would put a stop to Sir Alex Ferguson whining on after every match like a little b*tch, because the game didn't go unitied's way........

@2 Cricket isn't a sport for poor people, poorball is. Poorball supporters can't even seem to come to terms with the fact that 'football clubs' haven't existed for decades and were replaced with 'entertainment companies'.

So not really comparable.
