Full article 59 comments

A major conflict could be brewing between Argentina and Brazil after Rio’s Vale decided to cancel a 6 billion dollars potash development project in Mendoza and the Argentine Labour minister issued a mandatory conciliation which actually impedes implementation of the closing down decision. They may still be employed, but do they get paid?

The Argentine usurper government seem keen to exploit natural resources in South America as quickly as possible. Do they have plans to hand the pace back to the natives and go home, once they have stripped the place bare?

Teaboy2, it is in 3D. The original movie wasn't but this is a remake of a remake.

    Same ending though. *****SPOILER ALERT******

The whole thing ends in a financial meltdown. The first time around they invaded the Falklands, crashed and burned and the government lost power.

The next remake left out the invasion part but still had the financial meltdown and loss of power.

Not sure which direction they'll take with this one.

So stop hogging the popcorn stick it up your junta and shove over.

You would think that any 'government minister' (oxymoron for the morons in argieland) would have done their best at ensuring AR commitments were met and the project encouraged to carry on.

So what do this lot do 'issue a mandatory conciliation order'. I bet Vale isn’t stupid enough to pay the 'workers' though.

And if La Think, the bitter and twisted old woman of Chubut, 'thinks' that Rousseff will stand by and let possibly the most important company in Brasil be badgered by a bunch of little crooks aka the argie government without doing anything about it, 'she' is mistaken as usual.

The economic sectors of Mendoza need U$ to be successful.
Now, with $6b less $$$ coming in, higher unemployment, there will less to support the “other economic sectors”

What will happen to Mendoza? How many Havannas have to close, for trolls to recognise their economy is imploding?

@John Troll the 3rd Says “Good for Mendoza, our economy does not need polluting mining. Many of our economic sectors depend on a pristine environment”

Not quite what worldwide governmant think they see it as a land of criminals.

“Con-men have been known to rob tourists while an accomplice pretends to help remove ketchup or mustard that has been 'accidentally' sprayed on them. Another common tactic is slitting handbags in crowded places and snatching mobile phones while they are being used.

Passport thefts are common especially in Buenos Aires and Mendoza. Leave your passport in a hotel safe or security box and keep a photocopy of the details page with you at all times.”

@30 Yes, that's devastating. So I went and looked up Monsanto: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monsanto And from there to Monsanto in Argentina: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monsanto And from there to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monsanto And from there to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monsanto

So Monsanto provides these genetically-modified seeds. Then it provides pesticides/herbicides to spray over the crop and this can lead to infant deformation and other illnesses. At the same time, Monsanto provides a bovine growth hormone. The prime purpose of which is to increase milk production in dairy cattle. But it's also still present in the meat. And as I understand it, “mate cocido” in argieland may be made with or without sugar and milk. So that's another nice way to get some rBGH. Haven't I mentioned something before about crops and chemicals? And cattle and drugs? However, it seems that Monsanto et al don't get an easy ride in Europe. Apparently rBGH hasn't been allowed on the market. Is that why we still have minds and argies don't? And, vis a vis her “personal wealth”, how much “dosh” do we think Monsanto has given CFK? Another reason not to let the argies get their sticky, deformed little fingers on the Falklands. But just look in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monsanto The argies already have “Malvinas Argentinas”. It's right there in Cordoba Province! And there's another one in Buenos Aires Province! It must be easy to get confused. Especially when you're a drugged-up, deformed psychotic. And so much for argie claims about their wonderful fruit, vegetables and animal products. They deform and they kill. Contact your political representative. End the EU-Mercosur talks. They are trying to poison and kill us. This must be biological and chemical warfare. No wonder CFK loves it!

This truly suggests that CFK influence is dwindling by the day,

She is becoming less noticeable by the day,
The world is less interested by the day,
And her new hope, the converted halo,
Will not sit on her head,
Basically CFK will soon become an irrelevance,

And Brazil, will just ignore her, and advance herself on the world stage,
Leaving behind her a big hole, that used to be argentina ..
