Rule of law, contract law etc will not return to Argentina until CFK is gone.

I am no sure why PetroBras is saying anything at all they're pulling out of Argentina all together shortly.

Nothing will come of it until TMBOA is dead or left the country.

ANY International listed business would be at risk of being delisted if they got into bed big time with the bunch of crooks running AR at the moment, not to mention a shareholder revolt and the exit of the Chairman and others involved in the decision.

A piece of advice for Argentina.

The FIG with very few people have managed to get successful energy investment in the Falklands where the resources may not be as great as some think (hence there was no drilling many years ago) and not exactly easy to access.

Argentina with huge resources (on land so fairly easy to access) and lots of people, have to also get outside developers to help with their energy (the islanders have an excuse-there's only 3000 of them vs 40 000 000 in Argentina).

Suggestion, Argentine friends -pay the Falkland Islands government the defence costs that you owe the Brits for keeping your greedy colonial hands off the islands ($ or £s please-in advance so that the cheques don't bounce), and FIG will sort out your energy exploration for you, without the usual cock ups.

    Problem solved and everyone wins.
