Apr 11th, 2013 - 04:18 am - Link - Report abuse 0Crowds shout 'Maggie Maggie Maggie, dead dead dead' during impromptu events

Britain is the cradle of democracy and people are free to express their opinions as they choose. Many of us are disgusted at these demonstrations by these people most of whom were not even alive when Baroness Thatcher lead Britain but no one will be prevented from making these uninformed and petty political gestures.

If you add up the crowds in Brixton and Glasgow and deduct the sum from the population of the UK you get aproximately 61.999.400 people who were NOT celebrating the death of Baroness Thatcher!!!!!!

Apr 11th, 2013 - 01:06 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The same can be said about the masses celebrating Galtieri and his invasion of the islands.
Maggie is death and the idiots are sad...

Apr 11th, 2013 - 03:38 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Not really though, after all 100s of THOUSANDS showed up in BA to celebrate the Junta and the general opinion of the public indicated 80%+ support for the Junta and its actions. As much as I discredit Thatcher for certain policies, I must say that kicking Argentina's arse was the most democratically liberating thing that she did. Be grateful to her, otherwise the Junta may have lasted until the late 80's or further, killing thousands more.

Apr 11th, 2013 - 03:48 pm - Link - Report abuse 0You have no idea of how many showed up to celebrate Galtieri.
Where do you get those numbers from? 80%+ supported what, you say?
Galtieri and his junta? Or the islands being Argentine?
I can assure you either way, the number is wrong. If we talk about supporting Galtieri and his junta, you would not find 10% of the Argentine population doing so. Not now, not then.
If we talk about the islands, you wouldn't find 10% of the Argentines NOT thinking the islands belongs to them.
You can mix history into the preferred cocktail of your taste. That doesn't change anything.

If you cared to read what I said, you will realise that most of the Juntas action were almost completely forgotten about over night. 80%+ was a common figure in some small scale census' done by foreign journalists in 1982 when trying to gauge public support for the Juntas and its actions. Margaret Thatcher should be treated as a hero in Argentina for bringing down the junta sooner and saving thousands of civilian lives.
So, you did invent those numbers, is that what you are trying to tell me?

What for Idiot?
Did I spell it well?
@15
Apr 12th, 2013 - 12:30 am - Link - Report abuse 0I didn't make them up, and even if I did you know that for 74 days of the war the Junta had never been so popular, and on the 75th day it had never been so hated. My argument was that Argentina should be paying tribute to Thatcher for hastening greatly the downfall of the regime.
@16
What for idiot? Err.....because your spelling is terrible?
Did I spell it well? Err......No

Apr 12th, 2013 - 07:52 am - Link - Report abuse 0You made the numbers up ;)
It's ok, we are very used to you lot making your arguments up. And it would be a very boring debate if you stopped...
@18
Apr 12th, 2013 - 03:01 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Care to read what I said? I didn't make them up, and even if I did
However you still can't admit that without Thatcher the Junta would have gone on.
As I said, for 74 days of the war the Junta had never been so popular, and on the 75th day it had never been so hated.
@19 Conor J
Apr 12th, 2013 - 07:27 pm - Link - Report abuse 0NO, NO that cannot be right. Everyone knows that the Junta were implanted into Argentina, they never lived there any of them!
I think, in fact I am sure, that we are wasting our time with the likes of Stevie / Guzz and his firearms expert Dunny Burger.
They are so indoctrinated and cockeyed (no not like Nestor) they cannot admit to the facts of anything that debases ANY living LatAm god in the whole of SA.
Pathetic really.

Apr 13th, 2013 - 04:52 am - Link - Report abuse 0Hello mate I was missing you. BTW when or where did I said that I was or I am an expert on firearms?
Ok I admit that I have fired some like FN FAL, FAP, 11.25, 9mm, 32 calibre long, 22 carbine, 22 pistol Beretta, etc. and I use to be Legit User of Arms.
Air Rifles counts? Ha ha

Apr 13th, 2013 - 12:11 pm - Link - Report abuse 0You and the other DF ‘I Can't Think’ tried to denigrate Isolde when she used the term 'pistol' to mean revolver instead of semi-automatic, which is correct as a generic term. It related to the despicable actions of an argie ‘Officer who was threatening an islander (what cowardly people you have in your ‘army’) and went on for ages. The two of you managed to demonstrate to us that you really knew FU about real firearms.
Do you remember your other classic: ”there are three million firearms in BsAs to deal with your invaders (or troops, whatever). What a laugh we had with that, I still chuckle every time I think about it.
You have not experienced the correct use of battle firearms on the mainland but the way TMBOA is going you may well have the chance, but I suppose you will be off on your toes if that should happen.
@ChristRambo
Apr 14th, 2013 - 06:48 am - Link - Report abuse 0This debate started by someone (You say Isolde I don’t remember if was her) saying that an Argie soldier was threatening an islander with his revolver.
That of course cannot be true because Argei army at that time used Pistols.
I don’t know in your country but sure in continental Europe SA USA, etc. even old lovely ladies can distinguish the difference by its shapes and the mechanism used to load the amo.
Pistols and revolvers are two different things even tough both are handguns.
An engineer like you should know that. The engineering of the two artefacts differs especially in the design of the firing chambers and retracting mechanism.
While a pistol has a single chamber integrated with the barrel a revolver has multiple chambers mechanised on a single cylinder.
”there are three million firearms in BsAs to deal with your invaders (or troops, whatever). What a laugh we had with that, I still chuckle every time I think about it.”
You laugh because you have no idea what is a war with 3m armed with sa weapons. Ask your soldiers coming from Afghanistan if they laugh about it.
Well now that we just have established that you have no idea about weapons and that you also were not in the killing business like I used to be, I guess we can talk about engineering stuff what I presume is your core business.
Now tell me what do you know about delta robots?
Do you recommend me to go with AMPS ramps with Merlin FW hacked or you have another better solution from England?
