The UK government has launched a legal challenge against plans for a European financial transactions tax (FTT), according to the BBC. The FTT will be adopted by 11 EU states, but not by the UK and Ministers fear it could be imposed on UK firms trading with businesses based in one of the 11 states. Read full article

There are plenty of other countries in Europe that are not happy with the direction it is taking, like the whole of Scandinavia for example.

Yes we don’t like the rules,
So we either get them changed or leave the EU,
But this in no way stops us from trading with them, and more that it stops us trading with the rest of the world.
