The Chilean ruling conservative coalition finally patched up differences and decided to hold primaries for the November presidential vote next June 30. UDI, Independent Democratic Union and Chile’s largest party will support former Economy minister Pablo Longueira and RN, National Renovation, former Defence minister Andrés Allamand.     As a canadate, Allamand has the best chance of winning the highest percentage of votes, but Bachelet is probably the winner in the general election. Longueira is probably too far to the right.

    Unless Bachelet makes a catostrofic mistake, she has the election stiched up.

    After watching the riots on television today, it looks like a rough election, but yes she'll win, but thankfully she's not a CFK type.
