The Arctic seas are being made rapidly more acidic by carbon-dioxide emissions, according to a new report. Scientists from the Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Program (AMAP) monitored widespread changes in ocean chemistry in the region. Read full article

    Theory fine - but WHAT were the PH levels 150 years ago and what are they now?
    All very well to talk about trends and % - but of what? Without the facts and figures it could look like a scare to justify more scientists wages in future - or it could be a valid warning - so come on scientists - give us the whole facts please?
