“Tax receipts and social security contributions from immigrants offset the costs of their benefits in a majority of OECD member states, OECD research shows.” Totally ridiculous and untrue. Especially in the UK. I won't bore readers with all the figures, but just consider - up to £400 per WEEK in housing benefit, £76 per week in jobseekers allowance, child benefit (even if child(ren) isn't, and never has been, in the UK), tax credits and on and on and on!

We all need to just hold our breath before the exodus of Romanians next year, London is already plagued with their prostitution rings, trafficking, gangs and organised crime groups, god only knows what its going to be like when they can travel here without restriction.

This immigration is in overdrive all over the western world.

History shows us clearly, once they come, they are not going back home (Patagonia, North America, Germany, France, Georgia, etc., etc.)

(It would be the same on the Falklands if they ever allowed Argentine immigration, and pretty soon 40 million of them, all indoctrinated, are going to be looking for work)

What is a government thinking when they allow these mass migrations? Are they after the cheap labor? Do they ignore all the long term costs involved with this? Providing a recent immigrant with welfare payments and housing support has no logic to it. It means the quota is full and immigration should be frozen until the welfare immigrants can find work.

Or is it that there is no real way to control a country's borders even if they act like they can?

Or is that the leftists want their votes, and the capitalists want their cheap labor, so there is no one to control it? So, the leftists get more votes and capitalists get more cheap labor and the local populace gets all the costs.

So, just ignore it, and ignore it, and ignore it, until it explodes in conflict and bloodshed. But even then, the problem could not be too much immigration (that would be “racism”).

    So, ignore it some more.
