Stick with it, Paraguay. After all, Uruguay is hardly important. Mercosur is just pushing forward a pawn. It took illegitimate actions to slide Venezuela in. You're pursuing the right course. Venezuela has to be kicked back out. Mercosur, well, argieland and Brazil, are trying to get you to ignore your own constitution and accept their hegemony. Allow it once and you are no longer sovereign.

requeste in pace for those that don´t know the destiny of it.........
Paraguay is doing what it must do.....to demend its rights as founder member with full legitimacy...Venezuela has became a member illegally without the approval of the all founders members so it needs the vote of Paraguay to regularize its position inside the group and can´t take the chair before it happen.
Anyway, the best for Paraguay is run away definitely from Mercosur and joint the PA where the winner countries are.....and where it will be respected
Paraguay is better off forgetting about Mercosur & concentrating on the Pacific alliance. Now that Brazil seems to be going it's own way as well, who wants to be associated with an organization run by the four horsemen of the apocalypse.......... Venezuela, Argenzuela, Bolizuela & Ecuazuela
Jul 10th, 2013 - 01:22 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Maybe Uruguay actually wants Paraguay to not reenter so that Mercosur falls apart and they can go and join the Pacific Alliance too!
Jul 10th, 2013 - 01:23 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@9 Yes but Uruguay shouldn't be allowed into the Pacific Alliance. Observer maybe, so that it can see how things are done. Uruguay no longer has credibility. For the Alliance what is needed is countries with credibility, honesty, integrity. Uruguay has none of these.
Jul 10th, 2013 - 02:01 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Uruguayan Gvt. has lost its credibility, not the people and business from Uruguay.....may be in the short term the change this and be back on the reliable countries side.

Jul 11th, 2013 - 12:51 am - Link - Report abuse 0Brazil is falling down as well as the others Mercosur members, so the most probably issue will be that Paraguay will recaive ten of thousends of former Brazilians to reside there.....a successful PA country member....
