    Why is the entire planet trying to get pennies from Argentina when their own governments and banks have mulcted and swindled stacks of bills. Smells of racism to me.

    Who can find out how much it is costing argieland to “defend” these actions? They are NEVER going to go away.

    @1 Shame. No-one likes a cheat. No-one likes a thief. No-one likes a liar. There. Three perfectly valid reasons for pursuing argieland until it PAYS!

    If ten years or so ago,Argentina had determined to pay off its debts at a realistic percent people would say what a honest,honorable country and the future would hold hope.
    but announcing tunnels through the Andes,Highspeed train network,new planes for A.A.etc etc before paying for stuff you have had in the past labels you as deadbeat dishonest serial defaulter and removes all hope!

    @1 TTT(or whoever),
    lf you know that you'll struggle in paying back your loans, then don't borrow money in the first place.
    Unless of course you are never intending to repay, in which case you are a deadbeat.
    Would just like to see Argentina attempt to “default” on their debt with China.
    Trouble is, we are a bit close, physically.

    Ask the FIG apply for a loan from Argentina for some farcical Spanglish project,(to enable all the Islanders to speak Spanish,even though many of them already can) ,use the money to develop the deepwater port or 'oiltown' then default on it and suggest that it is flattery as:

    “we are trying to integrate into South American by using the methods you do.”

    'Would just like to see Argentina attempt to “default” on their debt with China.'
    That will be really interesting, because I believe it will come.

    How about for starters all those banks that were involved in derivatives, selling debt to Greece by hiding numbers, all those banks lending mortages to people with no jobs, AIG, Rock, and on and on and on...

    Just for starters.

    May I remind you: not one arrest, and all the tax payer money (your money, not mine), to socialize the LOSSES, and now that those industries make record profits again, are they socializing the PROFITS? Now, they privatized them.

    So I guess you are fine with all that. When a bank does well, they distribute the benefits to the shareholders, when they are about to go broke, they distribute the debts to the people. What a wonderful moral system the UK and US have developed for themselves. Worthy of imitation... (lol).
