Jul 20th, 2013 - 01:16 pm - Link - Report abuse 0AND, this one is a hope to far it seems to us:
to enable teachers in the city to share the intercultural experiences of their students.
Well, we can only hope that the indoctrinated students manage to relate to their indoctrinated teachers about the “lies” being promulgated by the British Embassy.
You really couldn’t make this up.
2 . I love it . Lies promulgated by the British Embassy . Good stuff . If you have a UK passport be not surprised if it is not renewed ? Time we screened out these types .

Jul 21st, 2013 - 09:39 pm - Link - Report abuse 0FFS grow up an read the proper English.
The teachers AND the students are both argie: they HAVE been indoctrinated by the state.
The Embassy will be telling the truth about the British situation to the students (Malvinas ring a bell, how they DON’T belong to the argies) SO, when the argie students tell the argie teachers what the Brits said it WILL appear to be lying.
Got it now?
Oh dear me, now wonder you cannot understand what I said about your father.
Thank you so very much for clarifying such an important point . I stand corrected. Could well be that the very cold spell we are now suffering here in Asuncion is affecting my mental process . However , thanks to your brillant comment I can now sleep well . Naturally I will say my prayers first ,on my knees of course . As my parents taught me . Also taught me to respect ALL religious beliefs .

With all respect, you should not split sentences up unless they have a comma in them and even then it can be erroneous, depending on the nuance.
If I was a British taxpayer I would be rather pissed off my government is wasting money on this sort of thing. Does English as a language really need promoting?

Jul 22nd, 2013 - 06:17 pm - Link - Report abuse 0It is an Embassy responsibility to help wherever possible their sited country to develop English.
The idea is to help the sited country promote itself in the world.
The Embassy in Uruguay does similar things but with much greater success than the poor sods in the Embassy of The Dark Country, for quite understanable reasons.
You just cannot help these people.
5 . With respect to your grammar lesson I will send your comments to my grand' daughters English teacher for opinion .
