Amazon.com Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bezos agreed to buy The Washington Post for 250 million dollars, vaulting the e-commerce magnate into the struggling newspaper industry. The best way to make a small fortune in newspapers these days is to start with a large one, but who knows what magic Mr Bezos might weave? He can't bring back the dying readership as old age takes its toll, but perhaps he has some other plans.

Internet killed the newspaper. Reading the news on the internet sucks, it's like reading a book on a tablet or kindle, a book bets a tablet anyday.
