In a recent letter to Republican senator Mark Kirk, the US State Department said that in light of Argentine prosecutor Alberto Nisman's report on Iran, they were now re-evaluating the information in their highly criticized May report on Iranian activity in the Western Hemisphere. Read full article

Disclaimer & comment rulesAs I said a long time ago, ATFA.org linking Argentina to Iran is going to cause CFK lots of problems and it was a frankly brilliant strategy and one Arg can't win.

What do you suppose they will do to the foul hag?
Aug 06th, 2013 - 07:22 am - Link - Report abuse 0If this means she will be forcefully removed from power, I'm all for it.
2. Sanctions are easier and then let the people take care of their own leader.
Aug 06th, 2013 - 08:46 am - Link - Report abuse 0Some say sanctions take too long to work but those people are not living in the country being sanctioned.
Just think of what would happen if Arg was prohibited from using U$ to trade.
And that's easy to get through Congress
As I said before corruption in USAMEX is a rampant epidemic you can buy any politician just for 38k green.
Aug 06th, 2013 - 10:37 am - Link - Report abuse 0Just wonder what they will be able to do for a Million?
Corrupted bigots the whole lot.
Aug 06th, 2013 - 10:46 am - Link - Report abuse 0But we knew that, didn't we...
Yankeeboy must've inhaled to much meth-fumes last night. He is delirious if he thinks the USA can do squat about Argentina's foreign relations.
Aug 06th, 2013 - 01:08 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Further, even Mercopress, clearly anti-argentinean (or at the very least clearly anti K), admits all US lawmakers are corrupt, unscrupulous truants. The USA congress is one of the least respected bodies WITHIN and outside the USA, it is the laughing stock of the world really at this point (from the debt ceiling, to gun control, to the scandals, and corruption... they are all filthy Americans up to sale to the highest bidder).

Aug 06th, 2013 - 09:38 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Let’s face it, realistically there is no way that Argentina can come through this disastrous economic model the Nestor implemented years ago with one short term purpose in mind…….to steal personal wealth. It was a shot term plan intended to achieve that. The obvious plan was when the people of Argentina caught on, they would be long gone. What went wrong?
Aug 07th, 2013 - 12:48 pm - Link - Report abuse 01- Nestor died
2- Christina took over and exerted her incompetence
3- The people never caught on to the thieving
Let’s face it. We as Latino’s accept a lot of corruption. We are not exactly the tallest trees in the forest. I do not believe that anything we in South America can do will achieve parity with the developed world because we as Latam nations encourage dependence and chastise self-sufficiency and independence all because the leadership is too incompetent to adequately manage deals with the world without getting the shaft in the back door. Even Mexico, the alleged up and coming latam economy, it is filled with socialist and drug kings. South America wants to be communists……we all in latam are doomed to forever being un and underdeveloped.
All the Rg idiots trying to deflect from the real story by calling the USA corrupt!
