    He declared the “unilateral” dropping of the cement reef blocks as “unacceptable”.

    But the unilateral act of getting the EU to protect the waters is acceptable?

    Hypocrite. It must be in the genes.

    The FI and Gibraltar have much in common, both have extremely successful economies with a high GDP, both want to maintain links with the UK, and both are geographically next to a jealous, bankrupt, colonial, Spanish speaking country!

    Great to see the FI supporting the people of Gibraltar and the FIG making the news again :)

    @1 & 3
    Well I certainly won't be going to Spain for my holidays next year. That is unless they start treating my fellow EU and British citizens in Gibraltar with more respect.

    Ye separate to the reasons listed in the linked article I would add several of my own to explain the Spanish sabre rattling, 3 come to mind...

    - To divert public attention away from Spains failing economy

    - To try and make the UK look colonial (Encouraged by CFK, Spain are effectively jumping on the RG bandwagon)

    - Discourage Catalonian independence (try and unite Spain behind a common cause)

    just my opinion feel free to debate.

    It is real shame that many people from the UK still take their holidays in Spain and do not understand what is going on with Spain and Gibraltar.

    Some of my friends emailed me and said I couldn't get them for three weeks as they were going on holiday to Spain and seemed rather put out when I suggested that they could have gone to Portugal instead. These are professional people as well.

    Now, who could you be?

    I “think” you might just be a puppet of the old puppet master himself the one and only “The Bitter And Twisted Old Man Of Chew Butt” aka La Thinka herself.

    Too bad though, I am not 'travelling' as I live in the lovely country of Uruguay, but you KNEW that didn't you, you old twat?
