Argentina will offer whatever it takes to get the cash and skills to exploit the shale. It won't bother keeping to the agreement further down the line.

We all knew this was going to happen when Ecuador put a lean on Chevron in The Dark Country.

These LatAms can't see the boulder rolling down at them before it flattens them.

Poetic justice for TDC and TMBOA though.

wtf, they think their close-to-minimum donation to the Vaca thing.is not only.going to release the frozen money im.Arg.(it seems it did) but the whole $19 B.
The Vaca thing is a boondoggle anyway cause it takes 100,000 gallons of fresh water per well. They have 0 gallons. There's npwhere else in the world where they.are fracking a desert.

If they only thought long term they'd put.cheap Chinese solar there.

The water is there in the Neuquén river. What isn't there is sufficient investment to get the ball rolling, Chevron's U$S1.24 billion actually works out to a total of about U$S500.000 the other U$S724.000 has already been transferred out of Argentina!!!!!!!!!!
