    Great news.

    I expect El Think de Chubut to give me weekly updates on the progress of every action taken by these companies and also a running tally of the share price from this date forward.

    So they show that they have police force when it's in their best interest, but they can't protect people in their daily lives. Still, the police force is pretty incompetent.

    How did the Yanqui imperialists and oligarchs get in on the act?
    I though that YPF was nationalised precisely to keep them out.

    This is probably the most embarrassing thing to have happened to my province.

    The agreement with Chevron is the most disgusting piece of thievery, let us just look at what happened:

    1) Repsol explores and discovers the Vaca Muerta oil and gas fields.

    2) CFK steals YPF from Repsol without compensation.

    3) An Argentine judge, at the request of Ecuador, embargoes U$S19 billion of Chevron´s assets in Argentina.

    4) YPF makes a deal with Chevron with all the benefits that Argentina denied to Repsol.

    5) The Supreme Court overturns the embargoe on Chevron's Argentine assets.

    6) The secret clauses in the law could, conceivably, allow Chevron to repatriate it's Argentine assets thus securing U$S19 billions for an investment of U$S1.24 billions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Among the many dirty pieces of business this government has done, such as with Barick Gold, this one really stinks!!!!!!!!!!

    Watch this. Democracy in action. Fierce protests. And the crims went ahead and did it anyway. Simon, don't know how you stand it. Suggestion: Get yourself a sniper rifle. Use the “Spanish option”. Executive action! Doesn't have to be legal. You just have to get away with it!

    @5

    Little brother-in-law was there as he is very much against this shameful deal. From what I hear it wasn't rubber bullets, they were real. He is not someone prone to exaggeration.
