Anybody asked Hector Timmerman if it's okay?

Only about 20 years and it will belong to argentina.

    (hollow laughter)

@1 More importantly, has anybody asked British Forces about defence? The port IS going to be directly opposite Stanley.

    @3
I should think that has already been sorted out.

@3 There's nothing in the consultation about it. And it should be a primary consideration. Just imagine some vicious little argies getting in and planting explosives on oil storage facilities. There should be major air and sea defences around and between Menguera Point and Cape Pembroke.

Does anyone know the timetable for when the actual construction begins, presumably with the access road first?

@6 Everything I've read about Port William says they have no plans for warships docking there. I would imagine (and hope) that Mare Harbour would be upgraded to take in a Queen Elizabeth Class carrier.

    Transient memory.

    If a fine
    leaf appears
    in the heart
    of the country
    I can see, near
    a glimmer, a
    delicate white
    dream.

    “I see them
    hopping on twigs
    and again in a fancy,
    sweet little squirrels
    returned silently
    to remember a thought.
    It's a park kissed
    by the clouds
    of a matutinal ray,
    it's a silent touch
    picking off leaves,
    it's a flower
    that dies, and a
    care in your heart. ”

    Or...:
    “Li vedo saltellar
    di ramo in ramo
    e di nuovo gioire,
    dolci scoiattoli
    tornati nel chiaro
    a membrar quel
    pensiero.
    E' un parco baciato
    dal chiarore ancor
    vivo d'un intenso
    mattino, è un
    tocco silente
    del ruscello che scorre,
    è il canto del sole,
    fuggitivo e sereno.”

    Stick to Italian, Francesco.......
