Falklands’ first oil delayed as cost alternatives are considered
Premier Oil exploring for oil in the Falkland Islands said the company is studying cost alternatives to its drilling operations and crude extracting sub-sea architecture for the development of the Sea Lion project, which could delay the original chronogram for first oil. Read full article

Power companies reporting fewer losses through thefts, are they? Or do the “villa” families object to paying power bills? How's the sewage situation? Still flowing down the middle of the street is it? Do the families miss their corrugated tin?

The whole point of these companies is to maximise profits for investors, not provide profits for the FIG.
If they have more cost effective and lucrative opportunities available they will go for them......they have an obligation to do that.

If the oil in the Falklands at the moment is not commercially viable it will be in the future, they ( oil companies have only scratched the surface ) or rather plumbed the depths. The next campaign in 2014 will no doubt make it worthwhile. Hows VACA MUERTA getting on ? By the way what does VACA MUERTA mean?
