Deputy Chairman of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA) Cristiano Ratazzi said that President Cristina Fernández “should leave office once her term ends” because those are the rules of democracy, otherwise it is ‘Chavism’. Read full article
When I started going to Argentina - way back when - one of the questions I worked into conversations was how they viewed other SoAm countries. Without exception Venezuela's government was viewed with derision. Even allowing for the fact that Argentines tend to think they are the best country in SoAm by a mile they held little regard for Venezuela. Chavez was most commonly referred to as 'a clown'. The country they seemed to admire the most was, in fact, Brazil. Just my impression.
Don't you think interviews like this are aimed at warning CFK that if she tries to run again she will face considerable opposition?
You should see what Colombians say about Chavez and as they are literally on the front line they can see exactly what Chavism has done for the Venezuelan people.
But I do think these articles are subtly hinting that CFK's time is up for many of those that once supported her. Mind you, she is so unhinged these days that she can't hear anything that Lacampingitup doesn't whisper in her ears.
@3 I reckon you're right. The country is telling her that her time is up. Is it possible that Nestor was actually intelligent? Not too bright of course. Faced with an economy (Falkland Islands) so much better than his own, did he learn lessons? Of course not. He did the latino thing. He tore things up, stamped his feet and ran away. Running away is what latinos do best. Italy (tanks with 4 reverse gears and 1 forward), Spain (no tanks), argieland (runaway destroyers and cowering aircraft carriers, capsizing destroyers and dare not go to sea submarines). But let's take a look to the future. Will argieland have understood that Peronism is not the way? Peronism can best be described as opportunism. Say anything, do anything, hope it works. Then deny the mistakes!
According to a report from International Business Development (DNI), Argentina has open conflict with 17 of the top 20 issuers of investment in the world: USA, France, UK, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Japan, Spain, Belgium , Canada. Italy, Sweden, Ireland, Russia, Australia, Norway and Denmark.
Hey, Australia, New Zealand and Japan have ruined Bougainville. No right of self-determination for Bougainvilleans, huh? Still harassing them? Don't resources belong to the Bougainvilleans? huh? Who's the vile, who's the vile...
What has Bougainville got to do with Leading industrialist tells Cristina Fernandez to abide by the rules of democracy, otherwise it is ‘Chavism’”????????
As Bougainville (North Solomons Islands) is an autonomous state since 1975 there seems to be no doubt about their self determination!!!!!!!!!
@9 It was a reply to the comment #7 that lists countries like Japan and Australia, talking about the conflicts those countries have with my country, but not saying anything about the conflicts that those countries have with other countries. Unfortunately, the deliberate attempt to push a particular point of view of this South Atlantic News Agency, tend to complicate things. Someday they will gain independence, unfortunately, mining companies there have destroyed the environment almost completely. As you can see, there are lots of conflicts between countries. http://www.radioaustralia.net.au/international/radio/program/pacific-beat/bougainville-confirms-independence-referendum-before-2020/1077886
I cannot express how refreshing it is to read one of our neighbours, Sr. Cristiano Ratazzi, speak with such clarity and common business sense.
His comments regarding sound trade and the exchange of US Dollars to achieve a more healthy economy is perfectly sound, when compared to the current reality of Caves.
Gonzo22 definitely sounds like Nostrils. Totally off topic and deflecting with a media article attached. Pity he doesn't see how much money pumps into PNG but why let facts get in the way of hyperbole.

What you don't realise is that outside of your ideologically locked brain, Chavism has a bad name.
