The Colombian ministerial cabinet presented on Monday a protocol resignation to President Juan Manuel Santos so that the leader can make the necessary changes as his administration prepares for the last year of his mandate, according to Palacio Nariño sources. Read full article

    I agree about FARC though, they need exterminating.

    You have to look at it through the prism of Colombia's history including La Violencia and La Bogotazo. Also while military juntas were a dime a dozen in South America during the 70s and 80s, Colombia wasn't.

    Now that FARC are a shadow of their former selves, Colombia is booming.
