Poignant question ! The Military are very active in the informal economy which now includes the distribution of many foodstuffs, cement, rebar, and gasoline distribution (very lucrative on the borders with Colombia and Guyana)..leaving the regulation of what remains of the formal economy to Maduro and Co.
