    Cartes is doing a good job of restoring Paraguay´s relations with South America and building bridges between Mercosur, Alba and Pacific Alliance.

    Chile has already granted a free storage area for the goods from and in transit to Paraguay as part of the efforts to increase the U$ 700 million trade in the Pacific zone. Good move.

    Next move should be a new high capacity railway from Paraguay straight to the Chilean Pacific ports.

    Right, so they can transport their marihuana by rail instead of dropping it from the sky on their Atlantic side neighbours.

    @5 aedi...
    You've got the brains of a rocking horse. If the Brazilians build a good railway to Paraguay and we build one from there to Chile, the northern Pacific ports and local economies are going to hit overdrive and the beneficiaries will be all the people, business and governments. There's no downside. Plus you wont have to wait for good weather to get air drops of your favourite skunk or green dragon.
