Engineers in Italy have succeeded in setting the cruise ship Costa Concordia upright, 20 months after it ran aground off the island of Giglio. They said that the unprecedented salvage effort ”reached degree zero (vertical), which was our target”. Read full article

Those Italian Engineers must have a different Maths from me......
”reached degree zero (vertical), which was our target”.
We were taught that 0 degrees was horizontal....same as 180...
You start off at 3 o'clock position being 0 then anti clockwise to vertical being 90 etc. etc,
