Who cares as The Dark Country is true to form and cannot get its act together for the sake of the people.

Nothing will change unless TMBOA leaves the country and takes her viperous brood with her. And as for the thieving dead hand of Peron you might just as well forget the whole thing.

It is looking like it will be at least one generation until things start moving in a reasonable way and worthwhile yields.

Will The Dark Country still be Argentina then or fragmented into independent individual states with no real contact with any of the others?

The problem for Argentina , it takes several US$ Billions invested to bring to fruition. Getting one company Chevron on board is just scratching the surface. They will need possibly 6 or 7 Majors to make it viable. Will take probably 10 yrs or so. Anyway the political situation is so unstable that I think the Majors will give it a pass.

But that is only because you cannot get it out of the ground!

You don't really think that TMBOA wouldn't be all over it like a pox on an argie if she had half a chance?

So you have USD 2 Bn per “well” to invest do you, with no guarantee of striking oil?

I doubt that very much because TMBOA would have had that for herself.

Would you also like to define “time”? 20 / 30 years or until the Andes are worn down to sea level?
