Brazil’s Supreme Court reopens country’s biggest corruption trial

Brazil's Supreme Court has narrowly ruled in favour of reopening the country's biggest corruption trial. The court agreed that 12 of 25 people convicted in a scheme using public funds to pay parties for political support could have appeals heard. Read full article

    If Brazils justice is anything like ours,
    And their politicians, anything like some of ours,
    Justice will be a joke, the sentence with be in butlins,
    And a great future awaits them; just ask some of our corrupted politicians,

    Much democracy and freedom can turn into profligacy. Everything has limits. Our Supreme Court is stopped for almost 1 year!

    Even the STF can't stop the PT's hold on Brazilian society. I'm cringing already, 13 months before the PT simply absorbs another term in the executive and as part of the governing coalition. O gigante acordou, e adormeceu diretamente depois...
