@1 Pity good old Nestor Kirchner voided those 1995 oil and gas exploration agreements with the UK in 2007.

Argentina has been threatening to take legal action against UK and Falkland oil companies drilling in Falkland waters since 5th February 2010. Must be a slow, s l o w , process.

Argentina has banned 5 oil companies working in the FALKLANDS from having any interests in Argentina for 20 yrs, surely that is good as they can focus all their attention in getting the oil out of the FALKLAND BASIN. Probably a good chance to buy shares in the FALKLANDS OIL.

To the malvanistas- this is on time as predicted some time ago, soon after it is likley that RKH/Premiere will also start their next exploratory drilling in the northern basin followed by the onset of their filed establishment development phase at sealion.

Well, it is ,because I don't believe the Islanders own the copyright for Iron Man 3, but they own the oil.

The presence of oil is great news for the Falkland Islanders. Am sure they will be taking advice from UK and Norway however to ensure environment is protected.
