I can hardly believe this. Mujica telling Timerman to get stuffed? Must be a first. Although long overdue. Has he listened to the wife?

So the stalwart citizens of Gualeguaychu have magnanomously decided not to blockade the bridge.
Thier main complaint at present is that there are so many Uruguayans thronging thier shops that they can niether find parking spaces for themselves or get tables in thier restaurants
So to hell with green issues and roll in the blue dollars?
    Hypocrites?

@ 3 More than 100,000 Uruguayans are living here as legal permanent residents, and many more are living here because they work in Argentina and then they go back to Uruguay everyday or just because they come to visit relatives or for other reasons . Why are you so angry?

Some advice to Pepe (and possiblyto Alicia in Londonland)
    “Beware the Timerman my son.
The twat that tweets, the squawks he squeaks.
Beware the Boubou bird and shun
    the frumious Kirchnersnatch”
And who is the Jabberwock in the Argentine fantasy?

@9 Draw your own conclusions Chris!
@9 Yes gonzo I am angry, not with the Argentine people but with the stupid arrogant imperialistic policies of your government
If 100,000 Uruguayans chose to live in Argentina that is thier choice and should be respected. If as you say many of them visit relatives and work there returning to Uruguay every day I dont think you will thank your crazies if they block the bridges.
Many Argentines live in Uruguay and they are welcome so long as they behave and respect our laws and culture.Old figures I know, but 650,000 Argentines visited Uruguay in the first 6 months of 2010. But the Argentine fifth columnists of the KKK who try to undermine our country should be declared persona non grata.
    Two examples:
Timerman who was all set to organize a major bash for his daughters wedding in Uruguay, directly evading his own governments dollar clamp as ordered by his own KK Klan. So where were the dollars to pay for that come from?
Sr Kicilof ( Which might be freely translated as Mr Killusoff) regularly makes visits to Colonia has a part of his fortune invested there, ostensibly to look after his house... and probably other business with the ATMs

    Ola ChrisR -

“ But remember what happened to the “Jabberwocky” in the film?
It had its head lopped off by a girl! ”

    Actually, it was Michael Palin.
Perhaps the page boy wig .was confusing, or you need a new television.

    @ 11 BOTINHO

I think you will find the Jabberwocky (voice) was the magnificent Christopher Lee.

The film I was referring to is the 2010 Disney version:
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1014759/fullcredits?ref_=tt_ov_st_sm

Palin has never been in any Alice:
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1014759/fullcredits?ref_=tt_ov_st_sm

My Panasonic 50” HD Viera TV is fine, as is my Denon AVR1912 and my two Panasonic Blu Ray Viera players R1/4 & R2, plus my Roth fronts, Bose centre, Yamaha active sub & the Jamo rears.

So your next question is what?

    Oi ChrisR-

I see that actually you meant the CARTOON “Jabberwocky,” and not the FILM “ Jabberwocky. ” starring Michael Palin. That explains things.

    Next question:
When are you moving to Bang & Olufsen like the rest of us. ?

You do know that B&O no longer make their own gear.

No sense paying stupid prices (as they have always been, but at least it was good stuff) for what they sell now.

    Oi ChrisR -

We like to think ahead and out of the box in Brasil. Bang & Olufsen allows that Chris.
I'm fully aware of where, and in what countries Bang & Olufsen is made. I've been to the headquarters in Struer frequently. Times are good for Brasil, We can and do like to travel globally, including Danemark.

Price in Brasil ? We have electrical service here Chris. If you have to ask, you can't afford it. Enjoy your cartoons.

Just to expand on your point. “ But I suppose even seasoned diplomats like a laugh every now and again”, again and again and again, he sure is a joker in the pack.

“When are you moving to Bang & Olufsen like the rest of us. ?”

So just how many is the “REST” of “US” that have got this VERY expensive gear?

How many 5.1 / 7.1 B&O theatre sets are sold in a year?

“Price in Brasil ? We have electrical service here Chris. If you have to ask, you can't afford it.” Then by your definition I clearly can't JUSTIFY it.

“Enjoy your cartoons.” I do and without embarrassment!

“Last Wednesday, Timerman urged Mujica to “retract his decision” authorizing an increase of the former Botnia paper plant production, and requested him to “return to dialogue””

When Timerman talks of dialogue, he in fact means 'monologue' and 'we demand, we demand we demand.'

    We demand, IS Argentine dialogue.

Pity nobody takes a blind bit of notice, especially when he shows pictures of British subs taken in British waters to the UN and then say they were taken in the South Atlantic.

Even Pepe's telling him to get stuffed.

Can all you lovely Argentines do us all a favour and vote in Timerman as your next president?

    We will be eternally grateful.
