Sorry to say that I don´t wish her anything good.
since 12 years she - with her gone husband - wishes that most of the bondholders die whom she owes lots of money as head of the state arg. she (they) called these holdouts “vultures”, “robbers”, no matter if these people were or still are ill and needed and need the money for their convalescence as she did the last 4 weeks.
My wife suffers since 12 years from the lack of our money. Let her suffer, too!!

She seems to have lost a lot of her popularity. Looks like she'll be joining members of the old junta in clink shortly. Wonder what they'll talk about.

Sources from the presidential residence in Olivos where Cristina Fernandez is convalescent have indicated that in effect the president is in good spirits, recovering and has even started to read some newspapers and government reports. However doctors also demanded that the news be 'filtered' as not to expose the president to stress. Cristina Fernandez has been barred from flying and must avoid by all means stress situations.

You think it would be stressful to read a newspaper with 90% of it blotted out!!

    @3 Klingon

Even more stressful is the fact she can't fly. How will she escape when the howling mob turn up looking to string her up?

If she is supposed to be fit for duty by the weekend and yet cannot read the newspapers or travel very far. Hmmm.

Stopping her reading, watching or listening to the news is not going to help her - she is such a control freak that stopping her doing any of these would cause a fit.

Maybe she is so ill that she can't actually do anything - but there again we may have a miracle by the weekend.

Let's be honest. It doesn't matter when she returns to “duty”. Any day is a good day to burn a witch!

She needs to curb her alcohol intake, then she won't fall over so often.

Cynical perhaps, but I do wonder if cosmetic surgery was on the agenda.....

“she can't fly. How will she escape when the howling mob turn up looking to string her up?”

It will be a slight alteration to her favourite saying of “do as I say, not do as I do” into: “die if I do and die if I don’t” but only if we are lucky.

As she clearly knows that she will not be able to bring the country off the precipice, she will work hard, and fly, and fight, and lie as usual and DIE AS A MARTYR and be as EVITA as she always wanted to be.
I wish her the best on this way!

The only thing that will be pursued with any intensity is the “how do we make it look that we weren't the ones who facked it all up” project. Whether this means a massive deflection or change in policy it remains to be seen, but rest assured that a considerable amount of government energy will be directed at the legacy re-write.

“Cristina Fernandez could be discharged this week, ” says MP.

They could always trying dicharging her into the poisoned river opposite the pulp mill, there's enough poison from argieland in it already that another good dose would go un-noticed.

    Just wishful thinking.

Will we get to see a new range of hideous expressions of outrage with the latest additions of plastic surgery done to her face?

To be fair on the old lady,
    She should return,

So yes please, the sooner the better,

Pssst, I heard that the cosmetic surgeons have given her a permanent smile. Or was it a frown, only time will tell. Apparently the surgeon has gone for a swim 1500 kms off Tierro del Fuego ( without a lifejacket I hasten to add. )

There is nothing wrong with her . I saw her in Tesco on the Cromwell Rd half an hour ago . I assume the sweaty fat boy with the runny nose next to her is Maximo .

I was half expecting “supercilious from occupied Patagonia” to start listing Mrs Kirchners achievements. But perhaps even he has difficulty recalling anything worthy of note?

Great to see a “Human rights leader” as her “improvised spokesperson” =) Looking forward to her celebratory return, given all the successes at the polls and in court they'll have much to celebrate and with Cristinita back in person the best should be yet to come!

I wonbder if with it being a head surgery she'll have had to cut her hair; while her long hair has always been gorgeous I think she would also really rock a pixie =)

@22 : Estela de Carlotto is a crook of the highest magnitude . If you could read spanish , I would put attach some links for you to read .
Cristina is finished . It is rumoured she had a stroke as a result of the clot and her face is paralysed down one side . She is either in Cuba or possibly even the States or Europe . Otherwise , Canal 7 and the rest would have footage of her recovering to garner some sympathy votes . Even in the early 50's the Peronists milked Evita's terminal illness for everything they could , including tawdry pictures and forcing her to make a speech on the balcony at the Casa Rosada supported in a type of cast , as she was unable to walk .
Some go as far to say she is actually dead .Who knows ?

#24 You don't have to like her, she wouldn't be saying, as the spokesperson, that Cristina's probably coming back at the weekend if she was paralysed/having treatment for serious complications/let alone dead. Scoundrel or not it would just be stupid; even without being honest about how bad it was she could easily stall for time more effectively. looks like we won't have long to wait to find out, one or two days, or maybe she was being too optimistic and the number of days will be higher by a couple or so, as I said we'll see soon enough. And as for not having “tawdry photos”, maybe they're just not as tawdry as you think! I must say even if she is half paralysed I imagine her beauty would still shine through, as would her strength of character; Stephen Hawking for instance has never repelled me (and recently took a strong stand in favour of the boycott of Israel!) But I still expect a chic pixie is more likely =)

Hawking has been wrong about things in astro physics (and admitted it), just like he is wrong about a boycott of Israel.
