FIFA announced the appointment of Aggreko as a Branded Licensee for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. As part of this agreement Aggreko will provide temporary broadcast power solutions for the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) and the stadiums in all twelve Host Cities of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Not expecting power cuts in Brazil are they? If held in Argentina I would expect it, but surely not Brazil.

Good decision but it should have been made from the start.

It doesn't really matter how good the distribution system is things can be damaged by a jack-hammer, etc.

Apart from the main city centres the system is still third world overhead cables like in Uruguay and large parts of the States on which (unfortunately) it was modelled.
