    This reminds me of MP news calling Chinas growth worrying when it went from a yearly 10-12% to 7% and in the meantime calling UK growth accelerating when numbers of 0.2% were presented :)

    @2 In our country the police strive to catch them. In your country they'd probably be working for the government ;)

    “Probably”

    That is what you say when you haven't got a clue about anything.

    Then I suggest you change your name to “Probably” by deed poll ;) It's still better than Wart.

    @2, 5 Oh, I think we do have a “clue”. See, we don't wait for our government to tell us what to think. What we do is we listen to what people in various businesses say. They talk about upturns. About more customers or clients. Geddit? Now, who's got 28.5% inflation? Ours is only 2.2%. Who's got a black market in another country's currency? Not us. Who lies about their economic data? You do. Who has no access to international money markets? That would be you. Who has enough adverse court judgements to wallpaper the Empire State Building? You. Who has a criminal, thieving president? Shall we go on? How about your “energy” requirement you still have to pay for? How about your energy “resources” you don't have the knowledge or money to exploit? Here's the basic deal. We don't get fed bullshit like you do. Here's some “good” news. Your “blue” dollar now costs 12 pesos. Isn't that great? I see AFIP has tightened its controls on internet shopping. Only two international transactions a year now. And the total value can't exceed 25 dollars. Should be able to use that up on the shipping charges. Wonder what you can buy from Hong Kong for US$8.00? And, never forget, anything that is “free” is worth what you pay for it!

    Maybe if the Argies were a little more positive towards the Falklanders, (like accepting the general world-view that they have a right to exist), they could have got involved in the new oil-business. Maybe invested in some refineries, struck up a deal, cheap gas in exchange for refining the crude.
    Got themselves a slice of the pie, paid off a few debts maybe...
    Just a thought....

    @9 Why would we want the argies to be more positive towards the Falklanders? At the moment argies have two very sharp knives. One of them they are sawing back and forth across their throats. The other one they are holding poised. Ready to plunge it into their stomachs and spill their guts on the ground. Why would we want to stop them? When they've achieved immolation, there will be one less world problem. It might have an effect on other “problems”. Iran comes to mind.

    @11 Conq

    well poor naive little old me still hopes for a better future for the Argentine population, not their despotic governments and juntas of past or present, or the brainwashed trolls (!).

    I expect the “they get the Gov. they deserve” line will be next....
