Is she preparing the ground-work for a future default or major crash? Getting the excuses lined up and ready to go?
    still denying fiscal responsibility?

There you are Stevie. That's you biscuit for today. FETCH!!

Why is her daughter with her?

Is she there on official government business? No. not likely.

So if she isn't there on official business, is she there on holiday? At government expense?

Or she there to assist her mother to move in to their new home?

    We shall see...

    2 Zaphod

I hope Florpolish likes the new home her mother picked out for her.
Did she bring much in the way of personal goods?
    Did CFK bring her dog?

They'll find out before long, that it's a small island, after all.

Can Florpolish still fly to New York if she wants, as a 'Stateless Person' or 'Citizen of Cuba' ??

    Won't Ecuador take them in???

    Disgraceful.

Did she ask about the 400 journalists, dissidents and human rights activists arrested each month, as reported by Amnesty International? I bet she didn’t.

Did she ask how Castro managed to remain President for over 40 years without once standing for election? How about asking about the hundreds of political prisoners held in appalling conditions, often for years?

Did she complain about the total absence of a free press, free and independent trade unions or an independent judiciary?

Did she complain about the massive and continuous internet censorship?

Did she complain about the forced labour camps?

Did she complain about the near universal travel restrictions?

Did she complain about the repression of any kind of political dissent?

“Cuba is the only country in the Americas that consistently makes Freedom House’s list of the Worst of the Worst: the World’s Most Repressive Societies for widespread abuses of political rights and civil liberties”.

No she didn’t. No western leader would dream of being proudly photographed, smiling with Castro.

These people are both cut from the same cloth. They both believe the stupid teenage slogans they love to shout to their mindless supporters. Neither has a clue how to actually run a Country.

Please keep her in Cuba and never let her come back.

But listen: make her live as an average cuban, without her corrupt fortune, no 5-stars hotel, no maids, etc. Just like the average cuban in that fake, delusional “socialist paradise” that every lefty lover thinks that the cuban regime is ...

Where is yankee? Isn't “clamping” internet purchases “speculative”? Aren't argieland's new rules on foreign exchange and dollar savings “speculative”. In that argieland has no idea what the effects will be.

In Argentina it is common to blame “the other” it is a psychosis, a sickness, a symptom of never maturing and being able to admit failure.

I think it is one of the main reasons they continue to be doomed to failure.

Anyway... what a non story, on to more significant things...

Pete Seeger has left us at a grand old age. A wonderful poet and musician. I shall never forget sitting a few feet from him, Ewan MacColl and Peggy at Farnborough Folk Club in the 60's. I never saw Pete as a protest singer, his songs were gentler than that pointing out the absurdities of life in those times and the futility of war. We were all glad we weren't involved in Vietnam but later BLiar tragically involved us in the Middle East. Perhaps if he had listened to Pete it never would have happened.

RIP Pete, you did your bit and more.

Some of the funniest, wittiest and cutting comments I have seen for a while. All on one thread. Obviously the “Crass-tina & The Fidler” combo inspires!
Although special metion must go to
    @3 'Florpolish' lol!
@5 superb, (says it all!), do tell me it's your own...
@8 Very well put, cutting through the bullshit as always. Nice one!
@9 This is either totally facile, or quite possibly the most droll comment ever in response to @8 (i.e. Crass-tina's focus on the 'issues' and Florpolish's 'celeb' freeloading lifestyle)
@13 Good point also, applies across the board. Inflation up? Peso down? must be those bloody Brits...

    Thanks guys! :-)

    @19 sussie/Sybil/susanna brown/guzz

“Cristina looks like me after a day of work. As a working woman I understand her. I am a strong Argentinean woman and not matter what you say I will be here for 4 more years.
Those people who copy me...///... you can’t copy me, I am Susana Brown.
I do live in US. I came here to escape from my town in Patagonia. I grew up there but when was I very just being sexually active girl I was looked after by a Peruvian worker. He used to pick me up on way back from school. I didn’t like him first but then I like to call him papi. When I got pregnated for the first time by him my baby looked like a Peruvian. My parents sent me to USA. Here I have to work real hard turning lots of tricks, lots of man...sometimes 15 a day. But im proud, im gonna get back to Patagonia and buy some land better than the falklands.

    BUT LETS FACE THE FACTS:
I miss my Peruvian papi, he liked my rossy arse. He used to screw my arse all day
    Bang, bang, bang, pppuuurrrrrrfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff!
But now my arse get screwed all day by many men and some don’t pay just
    Bang, bang, bang, pppuuurrrrfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff!
Drip, drip, my poor rossy arse.”

I thought you claimed that one of your personalities did not write this, but it has appeared under your “sussieUS” identity on at least, two threads now!

You seem very proud of your activities. :-D

    22. That is ron and Stevie's intent, drive the conversation off the rails and hope that nobody is talking about how awful the Arg state has become.

I'm not really sure what “Sussie” wants.
He puts so little effort into his posts, has no arguments, just drop an “F-bomb” or “Arse-bomb” on each thread.

I really do think he is having psychotic episodes from sniffing glue, and wants attention.

Could he be Axel's “Mr. Hyde” personality??

By the photo at the top of this forum, looks like CFK managed to throw in a little sex while in Cuba...Fidel is pulling her towards himself, C is wrapping her thighs around “El Comandante's” waist, and he is shouting “give it to me baby !!!”

It appears the expression on Fidel's face is...“Yes I took my viagra” Thank God to capitalism.

I wonder if that expression stayed on his face longer than 4 hours?
