Disclaimer & comment rulesThis warning combined with the warnings about the consequences of pedophilia should serve to keep most British away from Brazil. Those that do manage to make it will have a high change of being killed.

Mar 07th, 2014 - 08:02 am - Link - Report abuse 0The talk of disease is very real but hopefully by taking the correct precautions the downsides will be minimized.
Unless you are going up the Amazon and sleeping with the locales you will not need any of this advise. Visiting Rio and San Paulo is not a health risk.
Mar 07th, 2014 - 09:29 am - Link - Report abuse 0It's very simple advice:
Mar 07th, 2014 - 10:42 am - Link - Report abuse 0DON'T GO!
@1
Mar 07th, 2014 - 11:53 am - Link - Report abuse 0What? You mean like death squads roaming the streets killing all the Brits (that will be there by the way) with automatic weapons?
Or are you still a bit bent out of shape because of a suspected bomber/turnstyle hurdler????

Mar 07th, 2014 - 04:10 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The stupid cow would have us believe she lives in the US.
Bit like suzzie.
@1 Hippy the Prophet speaks again !!
Mar 07th, 2014 - 06:03 pm - Link - Report abuse 0If tourists intend going to Manaus, then yes, getting vaccinated against malaria and yellow fever is highly recommended. As to Rio and Sao Paulo, unfortunately there is no vaccine against muggings .....best remedy is to keep well away from the bad parts of the city, don't trust anyone that approaches you on the streets, and keep your eyes well open...
Seems to me that ChrisR @4 is giving the best advice. Hepatitis and Hi whatsit can be discounted. They only wish harm to Brits. Anyone even thinking about it should take Chris's advice. Besides, anyone who goes will be giving money to the enemy.
Mar 07th, 2014 - 06:26 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@1 you always provide us with a chuckle, don't you dearie?

Mar 08th, 2014 - 10:36 am - Link - Report abuse 0Aren't Brazilians lady boys ?
@11, Not all of them, but Brasileiro, besides lots of other nasty things going for him, seems to be a frustrated transvestite. Can't make up his mind whether he likes his sausages whole, or sliced...
Mar 08th, 2014 - 10:27 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Lol!
Mar 08th, 2014 - 11:45 pm - Link - Report abuse 0but yes, probably best avoided.
@1 Hepatitis - one presumes you are referring to all the child prostitutes in Brasil!
Mar 09th, 2014 - 02:01 pm - Link - Report abuse 0As I understand it of the current ticket sales about 70% have been bought by Brazilians. Of the remaining 30% the 3 countries with the highest ticket sales are, in order, USA, Colombia and Australia. So it appears that the UK government's health warnings and anto pedophile campaigns have worked.
Mar 13th, 2014 - 11:20 pm - Link - Report abuse 0And, fortunately for Brazil, there is only one British country in the top 3 foreign countries.
Hippy@15.....if you are so well informed as you think you are, I suppose you remember Ronaldo's (o 'gorducho') and Pelé's public remarks regarding the WCup, a few weeks ago ? Probably not, so I'll refresh your memory :
Mar 14th, 2014 - 04:10 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Ronaldo : A World Cup is not made by building hospitals
Pelé : The money stolen (by the authorities) from the construction of the stadiums (calculated at US$ 30 billion), will come back (to the Brazilians) through the foreign tourists”...
Coming from two prominent national figures, one would expect something not so shameful ; And, if, according to your figures, 70% of tickets have been sold to Brazilians, I wonder how we are going to get back the US$ 30 billion....But, getting back to the WCup, all the billions from taxpayer money, spent to pay for this unnecessary spectacle on Brazilian soil, will not be missed...after all, Brazil's infrastructure is 100% developed, and we all have money to flush down the toilet, don't we ??

Yes, they certainly have ! We have no wish to have Brazilian paedophiles trying to sell their children near the stadiums.
C'mon Hippy, how about saying something sensible for a change ?? oops, sorry !! didn't realize it would cause a major meltdown in your brain...
Mar 15th, 2014 - 08:05 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Hippy Heppy:
Mar 16th, 2014 - 02:24 am - Link - Report abuse 0Just shot down in flames.
