Chile’s President Michelle Bachelet will travel to Argentina in April for what will be her first official visit since being re-elected for office, the nation's Foreign Minister Heraldo Muñoz confirmed on Wednesday. Muñoz was accompanied by Argentine Héctor Timerman as he made the announcement.
The Chilean official explained that meetings would focus on “strengthening the integration process between our two countries”, while adding that high-ranking summits would continue, even before Bachelet’s visit.
Timerman, meanwhile, drew attention to the close links between the two nations, and the commitment to strengthening that relationship.
“The relationship with Chile is not just a warm one, but also an historical one, and it manifests a shared future. That is why we have agreed to engage in another round of meetings between ministers, in order to deepen this relationship”.
He moved on to highlight both countries' positions at the United Nations Security Council, where Argentina and Chile hold a non-permanent seat, in representation of South American nations.
“We are the voice of South America and the Caribbean in that international organization,” Timerman affirmed.

C.F.K. has none of these qualities.
CFK has an interest in being compared and show close ties with Bachelet for herself to return in the future. Her wet dream is that Macri succeddes her in 2015 and has to default and cut the massive size of the state and all the other un popular policies that need to be done for her or Minimo Kirchner to return in 2019.
