The highest paid woman on a list of 500 Houston oil executives (2009) will be in the Falkland Islands next week with Noble Energy. She is scheduled to hold meetings with the local business community and members of the public for an operational update on Noble's Falklands' campaign.
Speaking to Penguin News, Noble Energy’s Falklands representative Richard Winkleman reminded that the company is to hold a public meeting in the Narrows Bar on Monday evening which will be attended by visiting senior vice-president Susan Cunningham who flies in that day.
On Tuesday a similar meeting will take place at the Chamber of Commerce with the Falklands' business community.
Mr. Winkleman described Ms. Cunningham as an, “inspirational role model and leader,” adding that she had done some “magnificent things for Noble’s exploration.”
Ms. Cunningham has more than 30 years experience in the hydrocarbons industry and joined Noble Energy as a senior vice-president in April 2001 with responsibility for exploration worldwide and business innovation. Previously she was Texaco’s vice-president of core worldwide exploration.
Ms. Cunningham who studied geology and entered the oil industry in 1980 was heralded the highest paid woman on a list of 500 Houston executives ranking 112 overall in 2009 and was the first woman to head an overseas office for Amoco and to land a C-suite position at Noble Energy. (Penguin News)

Mar 22nd, 2014 - 12:56 pm 0Although not a super major, Noble are big enough to be left alone by the RGs. If major fields are identified then the potential farm outs to the big boys will send the RGs into a jealous meltdown. Can't wait to see that happen.
