A community's press and that community's government should not mix at all.

That journal's unbiased expression is automatically compromised.

A government can publish documents and articles concerning issues wherever it wants. In this case, it is being done under the guise of “journalism”.

Will the journal be equally inclined to publish Gribraltarian issues that show Minister Picardo and his administration in a bad light?

Once a journal collaborates with a government, it might serve a useful purpose, however it is no longer a journal, but a government mouthpiece.
