    5 billion dollars in bonds

ah, but are the bonds themselves worth anything when you try to sell them.

I've asked by now to many Ks the same question and they NEVER seem to know how to answer it.

If they were so keen on Vaca Muerta and if it was such a asset for the country why couden't they simply give the concession of Vaca Muerta to ENARSA which was already a State owned company???

Those 35 Bn USD would have being needed anyway to drill VM, why did they have to go for YPF which is probably worth far less than 5 Bn USD plus interests, and have all the difficulties of clashing with Spain and the oil giant

Cue NML attaching the newly owned YPF shares. I was wondering why they haven't tried getting them before and then I remembered they haven't been paid for them yet!

Being paid 5 billion $s in bonds is so much better than being paid in money-no wonder Spain is up the shitter if its industries accept bonds from Argentina.

You really have to applaud CFK. Normally theft means that you take something that does not belong to you. Sometimes you have to make restitution...
In this case, there are multiple robberies by several characters and the thefts will continue for many years. Amazing!

A smart move by the Argentina government with further lifting of obstacles to investing in one of the biggest and highest quality shale plays on the planet - we invested two years ago and are making a fortune down there and clearly much more to come..........................ignore the uninformed naysayers on this site that don't have a clue about Latin America and continue to miss the biggest investment opportunity of the decade.................Actually just got back from playing polo at the Houston Polo Club where I sold some of our premium polo horses (another booming business in Argentina). We are consulting on a large USD investment facilitated by a well known private Texan investor that is coming Argentina's way. More good news to come for Argentina
