In 2010 The Guardian leaked cables relaying exchanges between Roberts and the US Political Counselor Richard Mills about the situation in the British Indian Ocean Territory in which Roberts refereed to the Chagos islanders (the former inhabitance of the BIOT) as “Man Fridays”.

And there speaks the voice of Argentina - the most bigoted, racist nation in S.America. Don't take my word for it, go ask your neighbors, specially those with darker skin.

So tell me again, why are you people so white? It is noticeable compared to other S. American countries I've visited...what ever happened to all those freed slaves your ancestors used to keep.....

    @ ! No Vestige of a brain

So that's it is it? That the best you can manage to pull out the slop that you call a brain, then?

Mmmm. At least he didn't refer to them as “Sepoys”, the well worn argie retort, even though they have no clue what it means.

    So? What is your point?

Argentina, its people and its President call Falkland Islanders “unsurpers”, “colonialists”, “pirates” and not a “people” and therefore have no human rights.

It is just another example of how Argentines hold Britain to a higher standard than they hold to themselves.

@1 Not too bad if you knew the story. “Fiday” is a Carib about to be eaten by Carib cannibals when he is saved by Crusoe. The “Chagossians”, about to be abandoned by the Mauritian previous owners of the islands, are saved by the British who pay the Mauritian government to resettle them. Considering how the “Chagossians” got to the islands, e.g. slaves of France, contract workers for the Mauritian company, itinerant fishermen etc may make it even more appropriate. Unfortunate that the British governmentdidn't know that the Mauritian government would pocket the money and do nothing. How unfortunate that “Friday” is killed in a sea battle.

Comes the new viceroy to desecrate the land of the Malvinas Argentinas Islands with their dirty feet, sent by the despicable genocidal english queen.
The same that made the island Diego Garcia “reservation” to avoid the resettlement of the original inhabitants of the island. Would remind you that the Chagossians were subjects of the crown.
The incredible thing is that the Argentine government still allows a flight from Argentina Continetal to Puerto Argentino still with a “governor” of the ilk of this.

“the voice of Argentina - the most bigoted, racist nation in S.America”?
    Where did you get that?

“Why are your people so white?”..quite simple..because it was the Viceroy with fewer slavers of the Spanish Colonies. Or because, as we were not racist, people married each oher so are mixed

So based on your reasoning, since there are not coloured people we are the most racist ones?..quite strange.

In addition, the comments of the new Governor won't be an issue since it seems to me that there are not coloured people in FI. What's the rate of coloured population in the FI?....take care..the very same reasoning could be made about the FI people?

Since the Argentine government insist that the Falkland Islands and its inhabitants don't exist, it doesnt matter what language he speaks, he wont be talking to lot anyway! I bet he is pleased about that.

Anyhow, how is the search going, found your “lost malvinas” yet? To lose one island is unfortunate, to lose more than one is just plain careless! If you don't take care of your possessions, then you deserve to lose them.

Let’s face it, as Gowliter of the Falklands he is not going to have much use for either Spanish or Portuguese, is he. Won’t be visiting many of the neighbours will he.

However Japanese, well think about it, Senkaku Islands!!!!!

China and Arg being best mates and all.

All part of a “cunning plan” for more militarisation of the S. Atlantic.

Oh and the new £200m ice breaker with science labs, will also be equipped with the new hush, hush super top secret Penguin ICBMs and seal torpedoes.

Brought to your region courtesy of Anglo-Satanic world domination.

“The incredible thing is that the Argentine government still allows a flight from Argentina Continetal to Puerto Argentino”

So the Argentines have renamed MPA, Puerto Argentino?

Is the Argentine master plan to name every airstrip in the islands Puerto Argentino if they invade again?

If you are going to illegally invade the Islands you might at least rename your conquests with more imagination than that-and before your dementia sets in-the capital of the Falklands was re-named Stanley on 14/06/1982, not that you could make your mind up what to re-name it in the first place.

If Argentina don't allow LAN Chile to fly to the Falklands. the Islanders will get a flight from somewhere else and Argentine veterans will be unable to visit the war cemetery, unless they get there in a rowing boat.

Also Chilean workers will not be able to return home unless they fancy a 32,000 mile return trip-so the workers will come from somewhere else.

And Chile will loose £millions (that's not Pesos which aren't worth losing) of trade-and you won't get any of that trade which will go somewhere else.

Noticed something about the British? When one door closes we find another door that opens instead of complaining about the one that doesn't open. With Argentina-if the door has closed-it will say shut because instead of finding one that opens, Argentina will claim they are the victim and complain forever that the door won't open.

Typical dislocated Argentine thinking, devoid of any logic whatsoever.

What can I say, such a reasonable, well put and rational point of view, I think not.

To mention other people’s right to disagree with you, as they see fit, you will say is “garbage”, no doubt.

Rubbish is the English word by the way, garbage is imperialist Yanke (Long Knife) dialect.

To put it in parlance you will understand, you have no Islands, no balls and no hope.

GOOOOOOOODNIGHT VIENNA, and the fat lady sings.
