Quite a lot of the protestors already own their own homes...they join the protest in the hopes of managing to get something more, for nothing. So, I say, 'screw them' !

so you think these people have “rights” ?? to invade private land and then march on the City Council, disrupting thousands of other people's lives. If they want to buy into poular housing why don't they register themselves with the appropriate government agency and wait their turn ?? I'll tell you why, it's because they are just a bunch of idiots manipulated by some really smart crooks (PT allies) who stay in the background and take advantage of these people, who are too stupid to realize they are just being used....I've seen just too much of this kind of crap to give these movements any credit.
