Good news at last, but as it is sited on the Plate the final environmental licensing will be crucial and must come in BELOW the first plant to ensure a free ride without interference from TMBOA.

She will be gone by the time the third one comes on stream.

What has Cristina to do with Cerro Largo? You mean Dilma?

    And you call yourself Uruguayan...

    Stevie,

    You grew up in Denmark.

You're not Uruguayan, at least Mr. ChrisR lives there.

By “the time the third one comes on stream” (your own words), it matters little where CFK is, or what she thinks about it, as “the third one” i to be placed in Cerro Largo.

    @ 6 Stevie

Now it is clear that you partially understood what I was getting at I will explain TMBOA reference for you, whether you accept it or not I do not care.

The Bitch has always tried her level bet to upset the plans of Uruguay whenever she can and the fact that Cerro Largo from BsAs is 470Km and from the border with Brazil is only 47Km (1/10) is of no consequence whatever to TMBOA, “us lot” know that if you don’t.

I bet the new plant (3) has marginally better water quality, it can hardly be worse the distance it is from the sewer that is coming out of Argentina for the original plant, and you can picture the howls now.

But perhaps that chip at the side of your head keeps whispering “Argies are our brothers, TMBOA is our sister!”,

The rest of “us lot” know better.

Not sure I'm 100% behind this one. An awful lot of “buts” to be sorted out. The Tacuari is a relatively small river which flows into the Laguna Merm, waters jointly owned by Uruguay and. Brazil
